I think if the Jets win, there is little to NO chance the Vikes will win. For some reason, matchups like that rarely happen (exception: Gruden against the Raiders), and if they seem too storyline, it seems LESS likely it will happen. I don't know if it's because the bettors feel it, bet it, and then it's gets 'swayed' the other way, or if it's just the way things turn out.

I have a bad feeling that the talk is too much of the Vikings' defense, which will lead to the Saints' defense wanting to show they ARE a good defense (at home) that can turn a game on a dime with a defensive TD. Favre did NOT burn Sharper in practices and scrimmages while in GB. It is true that Sharper usually got the better of him, and in fact, one time, picked Favre off 3 plays in a row.

With teams that end up on the losing end, injuries (like Flozell Adams) have a way of creeping up before the game or during it. The injuries are either a real thing, or else it's possible the players percieve that they are going to lose, so by being out one is left to wonder "well, if only so and so had been healthy for the game", instead of just them just being part of a losing process. I'm sorry if this offends some people, but I think it is a slight possibility, possibly a subconscious thing.

Harvin, Edwards and Williams all hurting, is NOT a good thing. Hopefully they are warriors that play through and are a part of the WIN.

Agreed totally! Peterson's best attribute as a football player is that he just wants to win. I really think Favre is the same. Those two seem to like playing together.
