Marty, I say we use a consistent line. Lets use this page, with Bovada lines. That way we are looking at the same lines.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/lines

The Brad & Marty show. [:-]

It's been a thrill ride so far!

If we can keep them encapsulated to this thread...

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/9/2013 8:34:53 AM)

I have a feeling Brad is like me. Like Peterson, we CANNOT be contained ! [:'(]

Bovada it is, no problem with that Brad. If I have any sort of trouble and use another site for a spread, just let me know before game time if it's off by a point or 2.

Prescott -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/9/2013 8:58:26 AM)

Brad was wrong, Marty took credit for 3 locks and changed his picks at the last second. Pretty much perfection at this point.

Chas Whitney -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/9/2013 3:34:33 PM)

I predict the Vikings O Line will show that they have not improved, just got a break by playing the Steelers last week. I believe this will also show Cassel wasn't a better QB and looked good cause he got to play the Steelers. Vikings still win and get even next week to 3 & 3.

I like the 3-3 part. I'll be there on Sunday.

Jim Souhan ‏@SouhanStrib

Hearing Sid still thinks Ponder will start. This is better than 30Rock.

Are they still letting Sid write articles from the old folks home.

They should move him to the mental ward.

At this point, who can possibly know who is starting? I still think there is a 50/50 chance Freeman starts.

I heard Dan Patrick interview Chris Collinsworth this morning and he asked him what was going on on Minnesota. Collinsworth's answer; "I have no idea."

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/9/2013 9:02:32 PM)

Just to clarify a couple of things. I was saying the 2 teams that I was considering for locks ALSO won (Saints and Packers), but the Packers almost didn't cover. Had the other teams I was considering failed, I would have mentioned that as well.

Also, I changed only ONE pick an hour before gametime, switching from Seattle to the home team, Indy, and it turned out to be a correct switch. I deleted the old picks so there would be no confusion, nobody saying I was trying to have it both ways. As long as a switch is done before game time, and posted on this site, I think that is just fine.

-----------------------------------

This is NOT my lock of the week, I just like to post my Thursday prediction on Wednesday night. I'm going with the Bears to win on Thursday night.

Looking forward to seeing your lock of the week Brad. I'll be posting mine on Saturday night.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/13/2013 10:25:53 AM)

Brad, I hope you're not throwing in the towel after one week. Hopefully we'll see your lock of the week before noon today, unless you've decided on a later game. I intend on having mine posted shortly.

I like that pick. I'll take Indy and give the 1.5.

Didn't have much time to look at it this week. It will probably work out better that way.

Actually, I am making a switch. I will take San Francisco -10.5 against Arizona. Scratch my Indy pick. Fitzgerald is 50/50 to play for the Cardinals.

Your boy in Houston is going to get fired pretty soon. That guy is a horrible coach and I can't believe how he keeps his job.

If Kubiak gets fired, we should be all over him as OC or HC.

I would one up you and say 4 TD's, 400 yards and 1 pick cause it seems that only Harrison can catch back there, and half the time we aren't within 3 yards of the receiver.
