SEA of Red is an understatement
I was the ONLY person there not decked in it
My favorite part tho ... was that EVERYONE knew the game (at least around us)
None of this sickening crap where people are there solely to be seen, or had the tickets given to them.
Every man woman and child knew the punters last four kicks, knew when the back up center had to come in, called out blitz packages before they happened ... it was the Anti-Twins experience.

Would love to see a game there.

Andre McDonald hospitalized with some sort of heart condition.

Please
Let's have a fun night
Please .......
We NEED it

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 7:12:01 PM)

Shortell looks good so far.

Need to make that EZ coach. Wasted a golden opp.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 7:24:02 PM)

Its real early, but right now Syracuse doesn't look like they belong on the field with us - on offense or defense...

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 7:25:53 PM)

Just caught up to the live coverage (was watching about a 10 minute tape delay so I didn't want to peak in here until I was caught up). Why was that opening KO not a safety?????????????

I think it should've been ball inside the 1. He took a knee with part of his foot outside the EZ.

No idea how they ruled it a TB.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 7:34:29 PM)

To me, it looked he came out, and then went back and took a knee. Either way, shitty call.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 7:50:23 PM)

Who's the backup kicker? Wettstein's awful.

Full house.Nice

Horrible call. Should have been a safety. Retreated into the endzone. Foot was past the goal line. Horrible.

I could kick that badly...

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 8:20:16 PM)

Dammit. That was a gorgeous play.

Too bad it was such an obvious hold.

don't miss Gray's inconsistent passing, do miss his running ability

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 8:39:33 PM)

Yeap, if we could somehow merge the 2, we'd have a robo-qb.

Jim Frenette -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 8:52:17 PM)

On KO, it's one thing for official to miss toe out, but then why no review?

Great seeing full stands

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 8:58:27 PM)

Would be an ass whoopin' save 2 botched FG's and a bad hold. We need to clean that stuff up. This is still a close game, it shouldn't be.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 8:59:04 PM)

Shortell has just missed on a couple throws, but he's been really good most of the night.

Only a So, not a whole lot of playing experience yet. Great size, big arm, seems to be able to go through his reads. Maybe its premature, but he just strikes me as a guy who will get a legit shot at the next level. Maybe only as a QB3, maybe more.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:05:06 PM)

So nice to have a loud crowd and a homefield advantage again.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:05:52 PM)

Crap. Bailed them out with a stupid penalty.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:08:28 PM)

Man I love our helmets. I'd love to see the Vikings use the same finish on theirs.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:13:02 PM)

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:13:22 PM)

Aaron Hill with an amazing redemption INT.

David Levine -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:14:03 PM)

Amazing defense on 2nd and 3rd downs.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Gopher Football (9/22/2012 9:15:12 PM)

Yeap, can't believe we may have a D finally [:-]
