I just saw a replay of the hit that Leidner was supposed to have gotten the concussion from and have 2 questions after seeing it.
Why wasn't that helmet to helmet hit called targeting?
And, after a hit like that to the head how could they just let him continue to play without even checking him out?

Incompetence is a very good word for it.

I've seen approximately 72 hits worse than the three our guys got kicked out for on opening night.
With no penalty assessed.
Horrible inconsistency on this supposed crack-down on h-to-h hits.
Big Ten officiating, always horrible imo, isn't getting any better.

I hate to say it but I am surprised Leidner hasn't been concussed more----way too many QB runs for a 3-deep RB rotation.

Awful FB in Maryland today.
The officiating is horrific, as usual.
Big lead for Gophers, but easily lose-able yet.

Frustrating misses on big tackles, but for the most part, pretty solid.
