Two Gophers football players have had a temporary restraining order filed against them in Hennepin County District Court, and the order could keep them from attending Saturday’s homecoming game against Rutgers at TCF Bank Stadium, according to court documents and the players’ attorney. Lawyer Lee Hutton said he will seek to modify the order Thursday, which would allow sophomore running back Carlton Djam and freshman defensive lineman Tamarion Johnson to attend the game. The woman who filed the order is involved in Gophers home games, Hutton said. “I’m aggressively advocating on behalf of my clients to contest the restraining order,” said Hutton, a former Minnesota player. The restraining order stems from an early morning incident Sept. 2, Hutton said. The incident included allegations of sexual assault, a Minneapolis police report said. University spokesman Evan Lapinska said in a statement: “It would not be appropriate for the University to comment on this matter to the extent it relates to University students. The University reaffirms, however, that it will honor and comply with court orders.”
