The drops by Crooms were straight up terrible. There was nothing wrong with those throws. Kaliakmanis needs to improve his touch, but I don't see that happening under Fleck.

My God, Fleck is a terrible game manager. He stands there with the clock running for 10 seconds with 30 to go in the half and he finally realizes “I should call a timeout “

Jordan Nubin with a very Kent Kitzman like 40 carries yesterday. I doubt Kitzman would have gotten 200 yards out it. We will see how long it takes Fleck to run him into submission.

Doesn't help that Fleck doesn't use his TO (he had 3) with 1:20 seconds left. Purdue is deep in their own territory with a 3rd and 5. He calls it after that but there's only 42 seconds left. Just bad in game situational stuff.

he then gets lucky and they actually get a TD and he holds up a "1" instead of going for it for 2. still down 8 and they get the ball coming out of the break.

Autman-Bell with a fantastic catch, fighting through pass interference to make it. This after dropping a more routine one in the end zone on the prevoius possession.

He's such an enigma. Has so many tools but has just never put it all together. He just cost us again by not looking for the ball. That was actually a really well thrown ball.
