I'll be fine but what is it with women and pulling hair out with tweezers? My wife is always after stray hair on my back, eye brow, or anywhere! I don't get it. :lol:
That one I can't explain. I've never pulled a hair from anyone else, and for myself it has only been eyebrows. And even that I stopped doing about 15 years ago (luckily that stupid fashion of having a thin line instead of a natural eyebrow finally ended). Hey, but how 'bout them Vikes??? :viking:
Why wasn't Rodney Harrison flagged for taunting when he went to the sidelines to smack talk Brian Billick?
Because he's a Patriot, and trashing coached is not just expected from them, but applauded.

Guest -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 8:38:09 AM)

Wow, will it ever end? First time a player said something to a coach and didn't get penalized? Don't remember who said it, but somebody mentioned how cocky Harrison was after the game. Funny thing about that is that I remember Harrison saying, "they manhandled us tonight". That is cocky. He should be fined.

Guest -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 8:41:07 AM)

Belichick was on the grassy knoll.

They were all laughing about it when they had him on for the post game round table with Young and Emmitt. They asked him "what was said" and he lauged, said, "Oh, you know, just a little something something" but he couldn't repeat it on national TV, one of the guys wouldn't let him off with that, and asked him again, no really, what was it, and he said it was something about his QB, and then when Brian B blew a kiss to him, he told him that Brian couldn't have him like that since he was a married man. It was good times. And then, in probably his best question ever, Emmitt said "You guys pride yourself on stopping the run, what in the WORLD were you doing that let Willis run off like that". :D Rodney face was priceless, and then he said they took it to us, plain and simple. But that being said, we'll hit the film and fix that, and Willie won't do it. And no, I really cannot remember the last time a player went up to a coaches face, during the game, and not only jawjacked him, but threw his hands up in his face. Can you? Seriously now, if other players start running over to the coaches and doing that, the league will start doing something about it.... unless it's the Patsies that do it. Good Grief, you can't even do that to another player without a penalty... again, unless you're the new America's team. I also found it ironic that they pick the one proven steroid user to to be their spokesman. The NFL has it all over MLB in that regard.

Lynn G. -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 3:29:53 PM)

Seriously Pete - when have you ever seen a player run to the other sideline and jaw at the head coach? I can't remember EVER seeing it.

Anthony Smith Guarantees Steelers Win Over Patriots Wed Dec 5, 2007 AP reports Pittsburgh Steelers FS Anthony Smith guaranteed a win Sunday in Foxborough against the New England Patriots (12-0). "We're going to win," Smith said. "Yeah, I can guarantee a win. As long as we come out and do what we got to do. Both sides of the ball are rolling, and if our special teams come through for us, we've got a good chance to win." :whistling:

Todd M -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 4:20:22 PM)

When you lose to the Jets and barely beat Miami there is no room for guarantees against a team like the Patriots. Normally I would like something like that.

Trekgeekscott -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 7:29:07 PM)

And now Peter King at SI is picking the Steelers to win over the Pats. "Five reasons: 1. A.J. Feeley and Kyle Boller have put up 52 points on the Patriots the last two weeks; Ben Roethlisberger won't maKe the kind of late-game mistakes those two backups did. 2. Brian Westbrook and Willis McGahee have rushed for 190 yards on the Pats the last two weeks. I'm not in love with Willie Parker's recent rushing numbers -- 52, 81 and 87 yards, against three straight sub-.500 teams -- but I think the Patriots will be vulnerable against a power running game. 3. Pats are tired after three straight night games, including the emotional Monday-nighter in frigid Baltimore. Bill Belichick didn't even practice them Wednesday, an incredible rarity with a Sunday game upcoming. 4. Hines Ward's will to win. The dude leads the league in it. 5. Just a gut feeling. The strain of going for perfection seems to be wearing on New England, while Pittsburgh is just bullyish enough not to fear the enormity of Sunday's stage." This is a guy that picked a Mike Tice run team to play in the SB a couple of years ago. and Picked the Saints to go there this year. I smell a Patriots 45, Steelers 10 shellacking coming.

Brady can talk about wanting to kill teams, they can say how their opponents are a disgrace and should give money back, their players can run up to opposing coaches and say how their players suck ass, the can say that Shula is a punk loser and it's.. all good baaaby! A minor player on the opposing team says that if their whole team plays really well in all aspects, and gets on a roll.... "yeah, we've got a good chance to win" And he must be punished for this incredible insult by the great Brady and co., .... :roll: Man I hate the Patriots.

Yeah, I can guarantee a win" part that people are reacting to. Also, I don't think people are saying they WANT the Patriots to respond to that with a big win. I think they are saying that Belichick is going to do his best to show Smith & co. up because of what he said.

Jim Frenette -> RE:NFL News (12/6/2007 11:45:56 PM)

Me, I was just speculating, but wouldn't doubt it going up on the bulletin board. I hope the Steelers do win.

Jim Frenette -> RE:NFL News (12/7/2007 1:39:35 AM)

I'm wondering if the refs will start treating the Steelers as bad as they did the Vikings after the infamous water bottle? Pitt all but called them dishonest.

I don't the Patriots are smoking anyone any more. The Eagles showed the NFL how to play them and just about every game, except maybe the JETS, will be a struggle for them. How about the M*A*S*H* unit disguised as a game tonight? Man, what a war of attrition.

El Duderino -> RE:NFL News (12/7/2007 6:43:44 PM)

I'm just glad I wasn't playing QB for either team.
