ORIGINAL: JC2015 Darnold has had a rough start (for him) this year but scouts talk about him as a high level prospect - like one of the best in years We shall see I hate to say it but from what I saw Darnold looked like a right handed Leinhart to me. Doesn't seem all that athletic to me and then I read he runs a 4.95 40.....he better start training with Tom Brady to get there. Barring injury, No. 1 pick. I actually looked it up, Leinhart has better measureables. 4.90 40, inch taller, 35 on wonderlic....10th pick in draft. Probably where I would draft Darnold too. Barring injury, No. 1 pick. SI & ESPN have Derwin James at 1 other sites have Lamar Jackson higher at QB---Jackson, Darnold, and Mayfield top 3 QBs. Barring injury, No. 1 pick. Too early to know that. Four first round quarterbacks: Sam Darnold Josh Allen Mason Rudolph Josh Rosen Baker Mayfield is at-best is a 2-3-round guy. Lamar Jackson is nothing more than a late-round flyer. Again, barring big injuries. The NFL already knows what kind of talent these kids have. They could give a shit how Sam Darnold looks against Texas or Mason Rudolph against Texas Tech. It's all about size, arm strength, footwork and decision making. As much as people get enamored with Lamar Jackson's foot speed, he's a 56% passer, which won't cut it in the NFL. I could see Josh Allen dropping a bit for the same reason, but he's in a bit of a different situation being at a small school like Wyoming with little talent around him. Mayfield is a guy that could move up, but his height will hurt him and keep him out of the top-20.
