i keep waiting for the breakout offense season now think it is never going to come. read something recently, a scout said keep waiting, he has same swing today he had when he broke in.


Could be, Stacey. He's still a great baserunner and defender, but the offense just hasn't come yet. I think part of the problem is just how huge he is. He's listed at 6'5" but, like Mauer, I'd be shocked if he's not actually taller than that.

I don't really see how they can blow the whole thing up now in Miami given the stadium backlash and Giancarlo's contract, but Jose Fernandez would sure as heck look great in a Twins uniform.

I hate their stadium too. It's a lot like Minute Maid really. The dome/glass for baseball just doesn't do anything for me I guess. And I get that the art/colors fit in with Miami culture, but it's way too much. One of my least favorite parks. The only cool thing is the Bobblehead museum.
