Needed to add gold.
They feel golden.

Black 47 -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/3/2016 10:23:36 PM)

I said it last year and I'll say it again. I watch the royals and I have no idea how they've made it to the last two world series. Watching this game tonight, I don't think they've hit a ball hard all night. I can't stand Yost. He reminds me of Gardenhire. I have no idea how he got away riding his bullpen that hard last season. And he won't get away with it this year. He had Hochever warming up to start the 6th tonight. Ridiculous.

I admire them for playing hard, playing good defense, taking the extra base, etc. But I don't think they're going to dominate the division for years to come. And let's not forget the Astros HAD THEM BEAT in the playoffs until Correa lost the game with his errors.

Bartolo Colon is hilarious.

Hilarious yes, but I think he still has a good season left in him.

I honestly thought Jaso for the Pirates was wearing a dreadlock wig to be funny.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/4/2016 12:36:41 PM)

As usual the stupidity of the brainiacs who run leagues is at fault, not Mother Nature.
How hard is it?
Why two Calif teams playing against each other?
Why Houston AT NY?
Are you really this dumb?
So some teams have their home opener NEXT week, when the temps stand a 75% better chance of being decent.
If you're going to be dumb enough to schedule stupidly, then don't whine about the weather.

Sonny Gray scratched tonight .... Food poisoning

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/4/2016 2:52:16 PM)

Man. The Brewers are quiet nationally.
They get less pub than anyone, IMO.
I haven't heard one peep about them this off-season.
Not even any Braun test fails, or nuttin.

Panda who??
Smartly run team, these Giants are.

Still not sure about the Cueto deal, either.

Hamels has coughed up 2 HRs in 2IP to the M's(Cano/Seager)

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/4/2016 4:11:57 PM)

Kerry, you noted it's rebuilding time in Milwaukee

down 12-3 is not an ideal way to get started.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/4/2016 4:12:34 PM)

3 consecutive HRs by the Giants. Span hit a 3 run shot.

Athletics lefty Felix Doubront has suffered “fibrous tearing” in his pitching elbow, trainer Nick Paparesta tells Joe Stiglich of CSN Bay Area (Twitter links). A second opinion will still be needed before a course of treatment is determined, but a surgical option seems to be on the table. The 28-year-old southpaw had been lined up for fifth-starter duties, at least to open the year.

How about this Rookie Story for Colorado. Homers in his first two at bats. Not at Colorado but AZ stadium is hitter friendly too. Seems like every new Rockies player has a big year at the plate.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/5/2016 1:24:49 PM)

Fun one in NY.
Hicks in left, Gardner to the bench.
The Astros young guns are bundled up like its twenty below at Lambeau.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/5/2016 1:26:23 PM)

Man losing your opener 15-0 has to take some shine off, eh? Ouch!

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (4/5/2016 1:56:05 PM)

Astros are just loaded with young talent.
Love how they embrace power, athleticism, speed.
They aren't afraid of those things like some teams are. [:D]

Angels being pounded 9-0 was rather sweet.
