I don't agree w/the philosophy behind it. Really has no impact on any game.

You want to kneel and not honor the country that is paying you to play a game? Your issue.

I could care less about all the publicity around it.

Last Wild game I went to ... there were a dozen or so 30-somethings behind us that never shut up once all game, including the anthem.
And I guarantee they are the type who are "aghast" at this.
Don't all of a sudden act like you're something special.
Kneeling to me is probably MORE respectful than the usual stand at attention.
Leave them the hell alone. Let people do what they want. If its important to you, do it. If not, get over yourself.

Which probably was part of his motive. Get some notoriety for something. Should have made it baseball, but has not.

The A's, without Maxwell playing, are up 1-0
