No, a case cannot be made for interference. A bad throw to the cutoff man that arrives at 2B just as the runner slides in. No way is that interference. It was just an all-around bad play, and I mostly blame the outfielder.

Would be a good strategy. Hope they don't. Can't picture Springer giving up a shot at going long though.

In the old days, some of the big hitters, when asked to bunt, would intentionally bunt two foul.

You think it's a normal baseball play to come up out of your slide on the CF side of 2nd base, turning your back and hurdling (subtly) your body into the infielder who is directly behind the bag?

Correa made a smart play.

As I said, I'm okay with no interference call there, but yes, a case could be made.

I said it before, Buxton, Hicks, Rosario outfield would be right up there with some of the best defensive OF's ever. Looks like all three will end up pretty good with the bat as well.

An amazing playoff run for CC
Never been a big fan, but you have to respect what he's doing
He's been doing it against the best lineups in the game, lineups who have seen him a lot
Notice his weight?
Betting he's almost a hundo up from what he was.
Sometimes, you let players look the way they want
If they're comfy, they are at their best.

Cannot believe there are any day games at this point. HATE all the night games, WS games should play a few day time games, too.


Considering how long each AB is the playoffs I wish they would start them at 6pm central time. I just don't stay up that late unless the game is very compelling or the Twins are playing.
