If Walker does make it to the HOF, that will make 4 different HOF Denver athletes that wore #33, representing all 4 of the major team sports.

David Thompson
Patrick Roy
Tony Dorsett

It’s a odd feeling here at the #Expos #LarryWalker hall of fame watch party

It’d describe it as antsy... my colleague
@MoeKhan19
says it reminds him of waiting for an exam result

Results at 6pm - We will have reaction live on

LARRY WALKER MADE IT!!

twinsfan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/21/2020 5:20:29 PM)

Jeter showed up on 396 of 397 ballots.

Walker made it by 6 votes.

Steve Lentz -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/21/2020 5:27:40 PM)

Jeter was a no brainer.
Good to see Walker get in. Much deserved too.

Excellent

Some of the speculation you asked about is based on the private voters. Who they are. Mostly "old school" which is why there's belief none of the cheaters will get in.

Except Ortiz, which I still can't believe. Cheated. And revered. Baseball's Ray Lewis.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/21/2020 6:08:20 PM)

The one person who didn't vote Jeter is probably pretty proud right now. That person's 15 minutes of fame.

Whoever voted against DJ should be removed , for his own safety, from future voting ballots.

Perry, vindictive asshat.

First ballot HOF should be good enough (I know the Yankee fans will be petty).

Was LENIII the one?

I liked Walker's interview on MLB Network last night. He was like "remember those old 45 records where you had the hit song and the B-side? Jeter is the hit and I'm like the B-side." [&:]

Speaking of future HOFers. Good move for both sides.

Yet again, you remind us of players we are trying to forget.

No Twins

Great drafting

To make room for Castellanos

The Reds announced Monday that they’ve designated outfielder Jose Siri for assignment.

The clubhouse is happy, phones won't go off any more when someone yells at him to get his attention. [:D]
