Huff has been vocal for years on Twitter about a number of political and social topics, including almost daily tweets supporting President Donald Trump. Among his other tweets are comments on the “sexual market value” of men and women, mockery of transgender pronouns, condemnation of divorce alimony for athletes and scribbles of Conor McGregor beating up a liberal then high-fiving Trump.

Despite all that, Huff said he was surprised to get the cold shoulder from the team in quite possibly the most liberal media market in the country.

“Quite frankly, shocked. Disappointed. If it wasn’t for me, they wouldn’t be having a reunion,” Huff said. “But if they want to stick with their politically correct, progressive bulls---, that’s fine.”

Of course, it’s probably worth wondering if not wanting to be associated with a person who tweets statements like “Let’s kidnap 10 Iranian women and make them feed us grapes” might not be political correctness so much as basic common sense.

What a clown.

Wife divorced him, then reconciled, then divorced him again. Hopefully she has custody of the kids. Otherwise, they will grow up and become an idiot like their father. He said the mother of his sons married him simply for the money.

Huff clearly demonstrates that you can be a world class athlete despite a lobotomy.

There was a story on him last year where he was the most-thankful to his God, for the time that he gets to spend with his boys, so that he can "teach" them the important things in life.

Many people — perhaps most even — would have liked to have seen some Astros players punished. Fwiw (and not sure this will make everyone feel better) but it’s not much fun in that clubhouse right now. One Astros player aptly summed things up: “It’s a (bleeping) mess.”

Third, MLB offered what might be regarded as an excessive reward to the players for admitting to wrongdoing. The players were assured if that if they revealed what happened, they’d avoid punishment altogether. This was an important inflection point in MLB’s investigation and likely an unnecessary step. The players essentially pleaded guilty and walked away scot-free. A guilty plea normally means a reduced punishment, not no punishment.

Imagine …. if our beloved '87 and '91 winners were found to be CHEATERS

I mean, you can just blow it off, and say whatever … but think about how differently we would have looked at them than we do now.
Easy to say, "woulda loved em anyhow" … but they're finding out as they ask the Astros fans … they are taking it hard.
Its a really sad chapter in a story that had really made them proud.

I would have Astros remove all signage of World Series win from all of its facilities.

Let the players keep their rings. Be like a Scarlett Letter when they wear them for any real fans of the game.

I sure nobody has the right to take back rings anyway. They were essentially a gift from the team not mlb and I doubt recipients sign a contract when they get them.

As Girardi said, right now, cheating hasn't really cost them anything but a little uncomfy-ness.
