His arm will fall off during the Houston series. We knew he could throw low 90s with sink. That would preserve him for a long career.

Some incredible games
I haven't missed crowds one teeny tiny bit
Just plain ol baseball, that is evolving daily
Look at what these guys do now
Its amazing
Everyone throws high 90s some 100s
Everyone can get a bat on it
Some drive em out of the yard consistently
The continuing evolvement of sports continues to amaze me
It felt like Arena Baseball last night in San Diego, but it wasn't cheap, because they were hitting hellaciously fast and nasty pitches all over the yard

Fernando Tatis Jr. isn't just the coolest, most jaw-dropping player in the Majors right now -- he's a full-on cultural event. He's Sunday night HBO, Marvel movies on opening night, a posterizing slam dunk and that feeling when the chorus kicks in all at once. He proved that with one ferocious bat flip on Thursday night in the Padres' must-win Game 2 of the Wild Card Series against the Cardinals.

The Baseball Writers Association of America overwhelmingly voted in favor of removing the name of Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis from the MVP awards for both the American and National Leagues, it was announced Friday.

Of the 313 votes tallied, 89% voted in favor of removing Landis' name from the awards. The MVP plaques will be nameless in 2020.

Earlier this year, former NL MVPs Barry Larkin, Mike Schmidt and Terry Pendleton told The Associated Press they would favor removing Landis' name because of concerns over his handling of Black players.
