Been involved with that scenario, with my teams that I like love, for years.

BSU is off this coming weekend. Then we get the soft part of our schedule: Alaska, Lake Superior State and Alabama-Huntsville. Of course all these teams probably view BSU as a winnable weekend for them. We need some wins.

Scary weekend against Alaska. They shouldn't be too bad, I guess. And they'll be desperate for a win. Huntsville is playing well so far. Would be shocked if they stay near the top of the standings. We definitely need to take care of business against Huntsville and Lake Superior.

Alaska is in Bemidji this weekend. I'm not enjoying seeing BSU in last place in the conference with 1 measly point. Need at least 3 points this weekend. Go Beavers!

Absolutely! We need to start piling up points, and now is a good time to start. Hopefully the weekend off gave us some scoring punch.

Just turned the game on. We have a 2-1 lead as the 1st period winds down.

Announcer just said BSU has been averaging a 29-25 SOG advantage this season. But we have zero conference wins and only one win overall.

Dammit! Just gave one up with 40 seconds left in the period. 4 shots and 2 goals for Alaska. Come on Bitzer !

I don't think it's official, but they are popping up on most WCHA teams' schedules.

I haven't noticed him much at all. Wasn't he the one that got off to the best start of the 3 last year?

Yes, it was my impression that he had the best overall freshman season. Weird.

Could be an injury? Must be, because it's not we're pumping in 5 goals a game and the lineup is too tough to crack.

I think it very well could have gone in. Disagree with the announcers. But I wasn't even aware they could have awarded a goal with the net off the moorings and the refs creating an imaginary net. No goal for BSU. Oh well. We have a PP.
