Let alone the fact they can't even get back there, since it's been over 35 years.

Twins are chasing after that level of futility. Where is the outrage?

Plenty of Vikes fans get pissed over not getting even to the playoffs; yet Twins are patient, understanding, fun-loving, bleh, bleh bleh.

Crap. Total crap. If you're not working your org to win it all, your staff should not be coaching/evaluating players/etc.

If your owner's don't really care, they should sell.

This is the Vikes thread, but I'm seeing too much of the Pohlad family in the Wilf family.

They make changes. Yep. But they're not very good at it.

They now have the cash cow started. When that's done? eh, if they win it all, will they care? I doubt it.

It's what I don't get about the Twins. So close so many times, and what did they ever do to make that last push.

One year. One, they tried it, and effed it up, by trading for Capps, when they didn't need it. Adding the lefty in the pen was
the better move, even tho he was dinged.
Other years? They sat on their hands.

Now they've been stuck in the 90 L section,and we're supposed to wait for kids who MAY pan out? Ridiculous.

I like that the Pohlads and Wilds are smart enough to leave the baseball/football decisions to others.

Unfortunately, it's worthless if they're not smart enough to hire the right people to make those decisions.

Of the big 4, only the Wild owndership show they really care about winning. I love Leo for that. I'm not at all saying they make all the right decisions but at least he cares. You can't say that about the other 3. It looks more like "I care because if/when we win, I make more money". That type of ownership sucks.

I'd like to take this moment to thank the Twins for actually winning two, because I have been let down by
The Vikings, the Oregon Ducks, the North Stars, the Trail Blazers, time and time again.
I might also add the Timberwolves, but for different reasons.

Its probably why I haven't completely jumped off the Twins wagon, as embarrassing as its been lately.
We do owe them for at least getting it done.
While all the others have not.
