Will be interesting to see what happens with contracts and personnel next year. Lots of tough decisions to make. OL is still a weakness. WR3 is weakness. DL could get younger. CB's have lots of ???

While I agree, it's not just the OLine, IMO.


If you're honest with yourself and not just self loathing MN sports fans (like we all are but just take a step back for second). Given our history with Zimmer as a HC. What was your reaction to another big game where we got the ball:

Went a typical 2 shitty runs and a "no chance in hell" 3rd down attempt.

Let them walk right down and score like we were paid to do that.

Seriously. We tied it up shortly after and looked a bit better but were you like:

A. we can do this!
B. same ol' shit, here we again.

I saw 10 minutes of this game and then barely watched. I knew what was coming no matter what the circumstnaces were. 10 minutes in and I knew the outcome.

I've heard that argument. And could care less. They will not go very far with Zimmer running the show.

Of course, he'll point to what SF did as to what they "can do" running the ball.

Forgetting it was HIS defense that got run over.

It's hard to know exactly who had how much control of what happened on offense. Between Zimmer, Kubiak, and Stefanski it's a 3 headed monster and I have a feeling Zimmer probably kept Stef from getting too creative. However, if Stef was primarily responsible this season and yesterday, I won't miss him. On the other hand, if he's the genius that many people say he is and we kept Zimmer while letting him walk, we are a stupid franchise.

Vikings can't. We will see how Stefanski does in the NFL graveyard. I think conservative play calling is on Zimmer, not Stef.

Oh, Stefanski can create offense, with the playmakers Cleveland has. Has his work cut out for him with some egos.

It wouldn't surprise me if it went that way. Zimmer has one year on the contract. IMO, don't extend him.
Am sure he'll get a couple more years.

HAS TO get over all this conservative stuff. The D isn't what it used to be. SF finished off what we all knew. They had moments. Not enough of them.

Miles is right, KC has the ability, because.....they have an offensive coach who doesn't pucker up. He also happens to be the head coach.

I noticed the Packers got a few cookies yesterday.

1) Hail Mary by Seattle at the end of the first half - Incomplete with 1 second left. That second magically disappears. Half over.

2) Late in the game, Green Bay running back is clearly stopped short of the goal line upon replay. Not overturned. TD Packers.

3) Even later in the game, I don't remember the GB receiver, but he was stopped short of the first down. Refs give him a gift spot. Upon replay, it's clear he's nearly a full yard short. Call not overturned. 1st down Packers. Game over.

There were more, but my short-term memory is not the best.
