We took a cab once, and in true TC fashion, it took 47 minutes and cost us $23 to go from where we were standing at the Thunderbird, over to the Ground Round, which we could see (may have been two or three of them) Anyway, a Tommy Kramer bomb might have reached where we wanted to go, but it was one of those "you can't get there from here" type things. Last time we did that. $23 at that time was the equivalent of $7,914 in todays drinking standards.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that we crossed paths at some point. With the lowered drinking age, the 70's were a wonderful time.

Not sure what to say here They're not losing There. I guess that's all that matters in the end. But man, is it ugly gettin there. I used to think we lost ugly. Finding out we win that way too. Its slightly better, I guess. [:D]

The previous series, Ol' Gramps dialed up a couple blitzes and forced a punt. After giving it back, they sat back in prevent with the 4 studs not even close to getting to Turkey Neck Glennon. And again, there was a pass that got stuck between 3 defenders. For all his good plays, Dantzler was lost on the 2 point conversion. I saw the guy go in motion and knew they'd pick/rub and sure enough the Vikings coverage fell apart. All followed up by the Bailey duck-hook, which was preceded by another WTF Vikings timeout. SMH Then they go OT and fall apart some more. Get a bail-out when turkey neck throws a "normal" pass for his skill level and is picked. I still do not understand how these O-linemen can false start with Zero crowd noise. Some real lapses in concentration.

In July. Our Top 2 DLineman: Hunter and Pierce Top 2 LBs: Kendricks and Barr Top 2 CBs: Hughes and Hill I'm amazed too. That we would be in the playoffs if season ended today. Zimmer has his faults but take away 6 starters(at those positions) on any other playoff team and they would struggle also.

With no consistent pass rush. Should we be surprised that we have times where we get gashed?

I know Wentz was discussed here last week. What a mess he is. And Philly stuck themselves jumping the gun on a contract. No pocket presence, ducking in and out and into sacks. Happy feet x 10 And we thought Cousins has issues holding onto the ball. not even close compared to Wentz.

With no consistent pass rush. Should we be surprised that we have times where we get gashed? Boyd has minimal ball sense out there. Gives up a TD when not reacting to a pass until last second. Misses another interception by reacting late. Then later makes one play and talks smack. And the normal penalty on special teams. Ick

Then you add Wonnum who has been emerging at DE as a rookie was out versus the Jags.....not even sure who the guy that got all the snaps was.
