ORIGINAL: Mr. Ed 1 win and an unbeaten preseason creates a buzz 4 straight losing seasons and all you can pimp is a shiny ballpark. Dumb asses. Hilarious ... Got up, watched game ... After game headed across town to pick up lunch. Saw 97 people outside on the streets. About 94 had Viking jerseys on It's no secret what is big in this state Twins had a window and they let it close by their own arrogance 3 mill fans WIN and get to the series, maybe even win it. 3 mill comes e-z. But these clowns were so arrogant, they fumbled around and now are scrambling to rebuild, spin and defend. From St.Peter's flails vs Olbermann's slam dunk, to the manager trying to beat down the media who dares question his decisions and his team, they're in trouble. So don't make a change, status quo, shuffle a few chairs, draw a few less who don't come to the game for the food, and then tighten the budget. Great ideas. After their 63-99 record in 2011, Ron Gardenhire emphatically stated that a record such as that is not how they do things around here and he declared that they would right the ship. At the end of 2010, Gardy had an 803 - 656 won loss record. As of today, the record is 1059 - 1029.....only 30 games above 500. Yesterday, we saw another game where the pen is completely burned out. Who go them to this point? Never in the past 4 years has the Twins team from the FO on down ever stated they were in a rebuilding mode. Guess what, if you are in a rebuilding mode, you let your starting pitcher, especially a younger one, learn from mistakes.....let them try to work out of trouble. But if you actually are delusional and believe you can win,, you burn out your pen by over managing. The Vikings seem to be a breath of fresh air, something necessary to hide the stench from Target Field.....and the critics of TF thought it would be the odor from the incinerator that would be the foul odor. Turns out its the product on the field.
