Name the only two players in the last 57 years to have at least 16 total bases in a game without hitting four homeruns in the game.

Rennie Stennett

Kirby Puckett

This player hit a 643 foot home run in Detroit Brigg's Stadium in 1960, for the longest home run ever recorded.

M. Mantle

Kirby Puckett one of them?

the 6 for 6 game comes to mind.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:01:36 PM)

Mantle is correct on the long HR question.

No. Also no on Stennett (Ed's guess).

This is tough.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:05:49 PM)

I'll even give you guys initials for both players. I think this will help a lot. Good luck.

And the other?

The Jer -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:30:56 PM)

Elvis Andrus

Trekgeekscott -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:32:46 PM)

It seems strange that he would say 57 years so my assumption would be that it was done in the 1953 or 1954 season...

Which would precede Adrus birth by about 30 years, but I could be wrong.

The Jer -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:37:19 PM)

He has an old soul.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:50:54 PM)

Elvis Andrus is incorrect. Think turn of the century era.

Mr. Ed -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 2:54:10 PM)

Eddy Arnold

Eddie Albert

Prince Albert in a Can

Trekgeekscott -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/2/2010 3:32:16 PM)

Why would you limit this to just the last 57 years?  Did someone do it in 1952?

That's for you to find out, oh curious one.

What two players platooned in center field for the Twins when they played the Dodgers in the 1965 World Series?
