Weird that he was born and died on the same day.

Dying on his birthday. What are the chances? I'd say 1 in 365.25.

Steve Lentz -> RE: Former Twins News (1/9/2019 3:37:22 PM)

"Pumpsie" was his nickname.

Dozier to sign with the Nationals.

Jeff Passan of ESPN tweets that the two sides have an agreement on a one-year deal worth $9MM.

Congrats to an awesome dude.
I just became a Nationals fan again.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Former Twins News (1/10/2019 9:51:50 AM)

Scott you are going to like this one.....on MLB Hot Stove they were talking about how Brian Dozier was a top 4 FA in one of the 4 in the round table. He was mentioning how Dozier battled knee issues all year long and he seems to be healthy now. (That was not mentioned by him all year).

SoMnFan -> RE: Former Twins News (1/10/2019 9:56:44 AM)

Thanks Phil
That's him. Take the abuse, and move forward. Better man than I'll ever be.
Hope he returns to what he was.

OMG CPAMAN. We were not only born on the same day of the same month, but also the same year 1959. Now we just need to find out the hour and minutes.

I wish the absolute best for Dozier. He carried us for years. Didn't they have a very talented hitter playing second for them already?

And both born in St. Cloud. Switched at birth?

Dozier to sign with the Nationals.

Contract Numbers? If he got $8 million per season for three years he should be dancing in the streets.

The Twins would have paid him 4/50 to 4/60 easy before the season----Nationals are dancing in the streets.

When did the Twins make him an offer like that? One of the story lines going into last year was that Dozier was unhappy because Falvine wasn't willing to talk extension with him.

Just a guess. Schoop at $7 million is a similar steal.

I was just wondering if somebody was going to go there. I don't think being born in San Francisco and never living there will have much effect on me.

Not sure what you speak of there
I'm still looking into the separated-at-birth possibilities. [:D]
