ORIGINAL: djskillz Milone is a AAAA guy for me still. Or suited best for long relief. You know, Duensing's role... I still think our pen is very solveable in-house. Call Meyer up for the rotation. Sink or swim. Unless he's hurt. Call Oliveros up. Put May in the pen. Very, very soon: bring Berrios up. Possibly even before Meyer if he's hurt. He's about ready IMO. Jettison Nolasco. In the next month or so, bring up Zach Jones. Jettison Duensing/ Rotation: Gibson Hughes Meyer/Berrios Pelfrey Nolasco (only until Santana is back, then cut loose) Pen: Perkins Fien Tonkin Oliveros Graham May Milone Jones in the wings. Meyer too if he doesn't get it together. While we're at it, time for Hicks/Pinto/Rosario full-time too. C-Pinto, 1b-Mauer, 2b-Dozier, SS-Santana, 3b-Plouffe, RF-Hunter, CF-Hicks, LF-Rosario, DH-Vargas. Bench: plenty of AB's still for Arcia (400 or so-DH/LF/RF/1b), Suzuki (300 or so), Escobar (300 or so), Nunez (150 or so). That's a really, really good bench. Maybe the best the Twins have ever had. And it's only going to get better once Buxton/Sano/Polanco are ready too. We'd probably have fallen into one or two more wins if we had Pinto out there instead of Suzuki. I really looked at Suzuki's stats this season for the first time when I went to the game on Thursday. U-G-L-Y. But he's doing a wonder for our pitchers, I'm sure.
