ORIGINAL: twinsfan Now I can't figure out if Rosario has sweet swing or a hitch in his swing? Or maybe it's a sweet swing with a hitch. To me, it's a bit of both. I've noticed the hitch as well, Mike. But he has such a good approach and makes good contact, not sure if it will matter or not for him. Someone said he might be the best of the prospect bunch. I don't think so, personally, and I've always been his biggest fan on here since basically rookie ball. I think (assuming he can kick the weed longterm) he's going to be a very solid ML player for a long time, but if he's not at 2b, I no longer see "star". I think a good "value" comparison in a corner OF spot would be someone like Jacque Jones, though he's got a better arm, not quite Jones' range, and a much quieter/better approach at the plate. Jones was a solid player for a long time, but never a star. That's what I see from Rosario in the majors. Whereas Buxton I still think will be a superstar with his all around package, and Sano will at least be a star with his elite hit tool. Meyer I think (assuming health) will also be very, very good. A lot of this is a positional thing too. A high end SP, a true elite CF'er, and an elite 3b are all just so much more valuable than a good corner OF'er. It's why I keep Rosario at 2b as long as possible, even with Dozier here. You can always trade one of them.
