Alanna Smith signs with Dallas. That's two starters and the two top bench players gone.

The other half of the StudBudz is staying put. Courtney Williams has reu-pped to a 2 year max deal.

McBride also coming back, but Carrington signed with Chicago.

The Lynx also signed Natasha Howard, Nia Coffey along with a couple of Czech players, 6-5 C Emma Cechova and 5-11 G Eliska Hamzova.

The talent going out looks a lot better than the talent coming in.

I really hope they take Fam if she's there. Highest potential in the draft and with our losses so far I don't see us in as much need for a "win now" player like Betts.

And I'm worried about Betts being an "old school" center. I don't know if she has the footspeed or agility to defend outside of the paint.

People don't talk about it much, but the Lynx got better when Fowles retired. As great as she was, you have to play a specific way with her - and the W has moved away from that.
