Can't coach size.

That's what they said about Hasheem Thabeet.

According to the YouTube DL provided she is a hell of a passer. Easy to see why she went #2

I was really hoping for Awa Fam. Her size and skill set seemed like the perfect match for the Lynx biggest need. I would like to see Reeve set up a front that allows Phee to play more of a wing role. She gave away a lot of size on some defensive matchups. Alyssa Thomas in particular beat her up and wore her down. Fam could have changed that front court dynamic. Disclaimer: my opinion of Fam comes from scouting reports and highlights, not seeing actual games.

That said, I can't complain about Olivia Miles. She is the most complete offensive player in this draft. Seems like a shorter version of Paige Bueckers. Elite decision making and passing, good shooter and rebounds the position well. I had swung to Miles from Fudd. Azzi is an incredible shooter and good defender, but Miles looks to be a lot more than a 3 and D. She seems to have that elevate teammates quality. Her defense to this point has been bad, but Cheryl must have confidence in her ability to play defense. I don't think she would have drafted her otherwise. That's generally a deal breaker for Reeve.

Miles' IQ, decision making and passing are about as good as it gets coming out of college.
