Bunch of bullshit. Their DB was grabbing his hands too. It's exactly like the committee came out and said. Hand fighting by both and not enough to reverse anything. It gives NO another boogyman though so they have that going for them.

Cowboys informed Jason Garrett this afternoon that they are officially moving on from him. So it’s a done deal. Was always sensitive for Jerry bc of his relationship with Jason. But it’s now official between the parties.

I think today's game should give Zimmer 100% job security going into next season. They established the run and then used play action with success. The repeated unsuccessful runs to the weak side in the 4th quarter weren't too impressive but moving Griffen and Hunter around on defense completely baffled Brees and Payton. Was great to see the innovation on D and the mostly smart playcalling on O.

He needs to figure out the Bears and he'll be fine moving forward. I just wish he would be more aggressive but I've resigned myself to the fact that he never will.

Having watched it around seven or eight times now I'd say it's the type of call where 20% of the time it could be OPI, 10% of the time it could be DPI, and 70% of the time it's a no-call.

Call that PI, fine.

Start enforcing zero contact from DB also.

Do that and football becomes flag football with some 1920’s basketball rules tossed in.

People would lose their minds if that was called PI every single game.

You would think that he would know that he has to play his first teamers against them if he wants to beat them. That and pay off the refs.

I find myself holding back waiting 5 seconds for yellow flags now that the NFL throws flags constantly.

The fox post game people were really caught off guard. Instead of the Brees-slobbering it was like 'what to we do now'?

A still have a VHS of Jimmy the Geek saying the Saints (or maybe the 49ers) would beat the Vikes back in 87. Vikes win then after the game Musberger says "You called it Jimmy." You see the Geek do a mini double take, but of course didn't correct Musberger.

Exactly, before the game Jay Glazer was talking about the Conboys HC interviews, at the end he was like "Mike Zimmer will be available after todays game"

IMO, the Aints are the best team in the NFC after us. You don't notice the difference between and Cook and others... other than he just seems to make stuff that could be a 1-2 yarder into 8-10 yards. He just seems to slip stuff at the LOS.

The "blind side block" rule is a joke. I'm pretty sure most NFL players are not blind.

Drew Brees' fumble lost in the 4th qtr was the Saints 2nd giveaway. NO had 8 giveaways this season (fewest by any team in single season in NFL history).

Jalyn Holmes' fumble recovery in the 4th qtr was the 2nd takeaway for the Vikings. MIN had 15 games with 1+ takeaway this season (T-most in NFL).

Add to that the joker chiming in regarding the Conboys HC coaching position "Zimmer will be in play after today's game". That said I'm sure he was just reading these threads...

I won't lie. I live in Dallas and was simply relaying the message. Did this game keep Zim's job? Probably. You just never know. If we get blown out next week, maybe it swings the momentum back again. Much like Cousins, Zim's ability to navigate us through the playoffs is questionable. It would be great if we slowed down San Francisco's offense and put it to rest. It's a business, though. I really hope we kee ppl rolling. Forget about next season. I obviously want to win now!

To say that is just plain jackassery.

Which you are saying was an assumption of loss for us (which I never said). I was relaying rumors eating up a news cycle. When did I ever say I hoped for a loss? I guess I'm not understanding your point.

I think what it says is that Zimmer found a way to gameplan when we were left for dead. Kudos to him. There's no telling what next game brings, but our game -planning allowed us to live another day.

We found a way to basically shut down Drew Brees with Rhodes playing basically full time CB and Sendejo as our Nickel.

Props to Zimmer and Edwards.

Best defensive game of the year by far IMO. Brees looked as pedestrian as I can ever recall.

Props to everyone! Kirk with an amazing overtime drive as well. I can watch that Rudolph play over and overa

I made the mistake of turning on ESPN. They're seriously trying to make the game an officiating issue? Hahahahahaha! I love it! Expect another rule change.
