I'm starting to like Arsenal's defensive lineup now. It's going to be exciting to see how far they've come along with the new players.

Two birds with one stone. Get Arsenal discussion going and get the Arsenal thread to appear.

Cool! I'm really excited about how they are going to do this season. Auba got his deal, the backline is much better (on paper) and Willian is a good get. One decent midfielder and it should be a top 4 finish.

Razor thin depth at certain positions has me worried. If we stay healthy it could be a great season.

The midfield has not been the same since Cazorla got that horrible injury. Would Ozil fit in there? He would be able to pass and create behind the front guys if he was in the middle. It seems a waste to keep him on the bench when he is making 300000+ a week! And, Guendouzi cannot be trusted to keep his crap together for an entire game.

Ozil checked out about 2 years ago. He refuses to leave London and will just ride the pine this year and leave on a free back to Turkey. IMO.

Douzi is a head case for sure. I really think we tried to sell him early in the window and were just getting lowball offers so Arteta is going to try and rehab him mentally so we can sell for a good price come the winter window. But you're right about our midfield. It's why we switched to a 4-3-3 formation. No need for a #10 and funnel everything through the middle. Use your fullbacks to push high up the pitch and whip in crosses.

I think we got better at the transfer window with Partey. He seems like the type of mid player Arteta likes. Good defender who can turn and advance the ball.

A lot of young guys and out of position guys. Turned out to be a decent win. Our offense is a mess, as a whole, right now though

And Arsenal loses again. I dvr’d the game so I can take a good look at the issues with scoring, but I don’t know if I want to...

ATL Madrid's 26-game unbeaten streak goes down today in a stunner.

Geez. No discipline and no scoring from Arsenal. Between them and the Vikings today I feel like I'm going to have a stroke or something!

Was this a record?

And to think we once had Giroud and let him go. Every time I turn chelsea on, he’s kicking goals. Great player.

Lose to City coming up here could put huge emphasis on 4th and 5th gameweek here.

Good job it is Norwich and Burnley but a lot of pressure to get results.

The 9/11 game vs. Norwich is going to tell us a lot about the team. I, for one am not "trusting the process" right now.

So I heard something about a former female Olympic great finishing her career at Allianz today? That's a special day for Minnesota soccer.

arsenal been so strong but i think they would improve if they sold gabriel and move white into CB with Saliba. maybe use that money to get frimpong at RB. scored 5 from FB already this season. would help saka more than white too.
