Kearse signed for 1.95 with Lions. I would've liked to have him back for that.

It's a shame we couldn't keep him. That is cheap.

Zimmer trusted Sendejo more....says something. He flashed at times but wasn't consistent enough to play unless they had no other option.....great ST guy though.

Darren Wolfson is tweeting that "there are fans (of Williams) in the building," and that "he is a stud when he is on the field".

I will say that I don't mind trading Reiff and a lesser pick for him, but I think it would be a mistake to pay him close to 20 million.

But, he was our 4th best DB last year. Not saying much but he played better than he did his last go around here.

Was he right when he picked Waynes 11th overall or Barr 9th overall? You can make a case that he could have done a lot better than Alexander at 54th.

Why aren't the Vikings on that list? Doesn't Harris' franchise count against it. Have we actually signed Pierce yet?

In hindsight, which is as broad a critique as saying that someone isn't always right.

I myself don't second guess draft picks TOO MUCH because there is so much risk involved, i.e. Treadwell and Kalil were 'good' draft picks that absolutely didn't work out. Happens to everybody. There are picks I like and don't like but you really don't know if it's a 'good' pick or not for a year or two.

Also, last I checked, Zimmer doesn't have final say on draft picks. I'm sure he has major input through the process into the 'final consensus' that Spielman is always touting ... but there are others feeding their voice into that.

This is not to excuse Zimmer (or Spielman) – I have a lot of problems with Zimmer. A lot.

Going into that game, it looked like a Brees 400 yd, 5 TD game.

He played one of the best games he played as a Viking.

Denver INT changed momentum in a game that would have been a devastating loss.

Did I want him back? Not really. We need to have better players at a lot of positions to get to where we want to go.

I had more of a problem with playing veterans that are overpaid instead of bringing in the young guys. Rhodes vs anyone; Watts should have been thrown in more; maybe even Udoh and Samia....what would it hurt?

I didn't have an issue with Sendejo coming in last year....he knows the system and helped a ton after injuries.

Mac missed the last few games (playoffs) ... Sendejo was on the field and played well. Much better than he did as a full-time starter.

Maybe the rest of the secondary played better when he was starting and made him look bad. OK ... no ... he was bad.

Not the last few games though.
