Thought Reagor looked ok, got open made some catches
If he is your 5 WR... that's a decent WR room.
Wouldn't break my heart if they cut him either.

We haven’t been able to pick up a yard on third or fourth and short in years. Nice to see us follow history, line up in jumbo, and get stuffed. SMH.

Seems like we've been historically bad at it over the last few years.

Chris Carter catch for Addison.. they didn't give it to him... I think he got toes in.

How in hell could the refs have blown that call? So easy. Preseason could we have challenged and why didn't we if we could.

One would think there would be an official on the line on both sides of the receiver. Wasn't that tough of a call

Better now than in a few weeks, though

Booth and Reagor just give me a bad vibe.

I don't care if Reagor looks great in a preseason game, he gives me the same vibe as Irv Smith Jr., and should be cut.

Reagor is just talented enough to keep and cost you a game with a mistake later......
I wan't able to watch much of the 1st half last night; does anyone know if Nailor played?

Sure but even if they had a super cool alternative play you’d never see it revealed in the first preseason game.

word is, reagor is having a very good camp, too....

he'll be tradable - if that's the path we want to take...get that guaranteed money off the books....

i think we should keep six wr's and six cb's....maybe powell as our kr/pr/wr#6....

what about harry as a hybrid wr/te?...keep three te's, five wr's - and harry....

I didn't notice nailor, but he hasn't been to practice for a week+, so very doubtful...hopefully he'll be back this weekend....

Guy was running for his life every snap cause the third string line couldn’t hold

-- Kirk takes the most hits in the NFL last year with our 1st team line, what's our "third string line" gonna do for him?

-- obviously I didn't see the game but I think I'm still qualified to lol

I haven't watched the 2nd half yet but thoughts on the first (most has been mentioned)

1. Chandler looked pretty good
2. That was a catch, 100%, and should have been challanged
3. KOC better get this shit out of his head because we are absolutely terrible in short yardage situations. the play calls are a joke with this OLine
4. Oline was terrible, again
5. D was way more agressive and it's just preseason. Gosh I hate Dona....notgonnatypeitout
6. Powell makes this team without a doubt
7. Raegor may be trade bait but he is guaranteed 2.5 mill if i'm not mistaken

I have no problem with them not challenging the catch.

Every down and distance needs working on in preseason #1

So impossibly premature ... yet ...

I thought Chandler looked sturdier. He had some juice to him last preseason, a little more physicality than your usual 4.38 dude. Very good balance on contact for a speedster, so much more natural than Nwangwu has ever looked. 4.38 guys who don’t shy away from contact aren’t 4.38 for very long so his issue will be staying healthy, not ascending the depth chart.

Mullens has obviously been fed a heaping spoonful of Cousins. What I liked about him in glimpses at SF was he had a little feistiness to him, a little scramble. He had a solid night all things considered but he did play a little stiffer than I remember him. Too early to tell. Still better than Mannion Mond (pause for shiver). Hall bailed on the pocket way too early which is both, a big problem and super refreshing.

Don’t get me wrong. Cousins is probably the ideal mentor for any young QB. Or any boy troop he takes camping. I just hope Mullens doesn’t get all the edginess buffed out of him ... you need a backup with a little bit of in-your-face attitude who can step in under-prepared while under pressure and still wing it without worrying what it looks like.

Addison has a little bit of a smooth bite to him. Efficient. It was good to see him all business. I was worried he would show up all petulant and flashy. With his own branded dance step. I guess we’ll have to wait for a score to see that but shrugging off the bad call on the toe drag was a good sign to me.

I wish I had even a vague impression of the defense which is what I was most interested to see. No impression at all, other than a few disappointing individual efforts (Cine is our new Sendejo, spearing players regardless of uniform; Booth getting torched by Oingo Boingo was disheartening ... he's going to start running out of Mulligans pretty soon).

I think we are going to be 4 games into the regular season before our defense starts to hit whatever stride it is capable of.

Its true, Reagor looked like a wr for the first time in a Vikings uniform but ... last night is not indicative of anything. Not getting the trade talk at all, regardless of guaranteed money.

Rosters are about to start dropping players left and right ... no one is going to pony up for a freakn' Reagor.

He better spring legitimate #3-4 WR type wings in the next 3 weeks or he's gone. I sure as hell am not going to give the Eagles a 4th rd pick for him in 2024.

As it is, a 5th + the 2023 7th was criminal exploitation of Kwesi.

What I liked is that he didn't just run. He had his head up looking to finish the throw. Granted, he never completed a ball but at least he was still looking.

Hmmm doesn't exactly spell success using limited draft resources on RB the last few years.

Who we have in the backfield is pretty irrelevant. Just don't fumble a bunch. If our line is decent they'll be fine. HUGE IF! Sometimes I wonder if this organization is incapable of coaching up offensive line. I miss the good old days. Plug in Christie and he's a stud in short order! Guys like Birk coming in and ascending. We sure were good on offensive line back in the day.

Yes it looked like his toes grazed the turf in bounds. Tremendous effort. But challenges in preseason games? What for? Why would it possibly matter?

Hunt, like Risner, just went through meetings with team staff and a physical, I'm told. No on-field workout for the running back today.
