We might end up last in FA $$ spent the last two years in MLB. Why even have a Twins Winter Fest?

It's called propaganda. You've got sucker some of these fans into still paying attention even though they have no intention of trying to win.

I am still surprised we tried 2022-23 with Donaldson, CC signing, Pablo trade, and Gray trade.....must have caught Joe in weak moment where he wasn't watching his wallet.

Need a starter, big RH bat, and probably an outfielder. Not even a start.

Well, can't say I'm excited over the who we signed. Big whoop de doo on that one.

But we are short lefthanders in the bullpen. Until this signing all we had was Kody Funderburk...

Boy oh boy...building a juggernaut now.

Any truth to trading for Cease? Good source?

They've been in talks but I don't think it will happen. Twins don't want to part with Ryan or Ober, or top prospects Walker Jenkins Emmanual Rodriguez and Luke Keaschall. Padres are insisting on Ryan or Ober and one of those prospects in the deal.

I wouldn't do it for a one year rental.

With the expected addition of Danny Coulombe to an already deep unit, the Twins genuinely may have the best bullpen in baseball. At least one projection system already had them rated as such even before the addition of Coulombe, and now they are apparently adding a shutdown lefty to their bountiful stable of right-handers.

If you’re looking for reasons for optimism regarding the ’25 Twins, the relief pitching should rank near the top of the list. Jhoan Duran returns to anchor the back end, and setup men Griffin Jax and Cole Sands should form one of the AL’s best pre-closer combos.

Add Coulombe, and it’s clear there’s a lot to like. The veteran has become one of the better lefties around since his last stint with the Twins, and he is expected to finalize a deal with the Twins by the end of the week.

Twins have signed Harrison Bader and his .284 OBP. Gotta say, I don't see what he brings.

6.25 million of salary plus a possible 2 million more.

Oh oh Joe Pohlad. Careful.

The #MNTwins have to put Danny Coulombe and Harrison Bader through physicals, and assuming those go well, the team will then officially announce those deals. But also, they will need to remove two players from their 40-man roster (the tough phone calls). Who will be DFAd?

He can play CF?

He's cheap?

Twins continue to build the juggernaut.

Well, we've reached the signing the flotsam and Jetsam portion of the Twins Offseason...

New ownership can't happen soon enough.

We've had an OK offseason. Arbitration settlements went well. We have the best bullpen in the world.

Compared to? They have had a worse offseason then last year......if we trade for Cease it erases most of it but last year we need a starter to replace Sonny, a RH big bat, and relief help.

We haven't done any of the three in either year. Santana was lucky; or it would have been worse.

Duran went from a "sure thing" to "hold your breath" everytime he pitches. If he regains his old dominant self, it's a great bullpen.

Actually you need a few more things that that....healthy Stewart and a return by Duran plus Columbe being the same after an injury. Some ifs there.

It this team can stay healthy it will be a very good team. Loads of talent.

Problem here: the Minnesota Twins medical staff on crack.

There is NO WAY they all say healthy. It's a virtual guarantee two or three staring pitchers will miss significant time. Two or three bullpen arms will flounder and/or be injured too.

And then there's Lewis, Buxton, and Correa... Do I really need to talk about them?

I question how much talent there really is. After this anemic off-season, I have little to no faith in this team even if they stay healthy.
