Cousins signed a 4 year contract, saw it on the FA tracker !!!

He did not sign. He agreed to Terms and the amount was staggering. 4 Years 180 million, 50 million signing bonus, 100 million guaranteed.

WooHoo, the Cousins era has officially ENDED!!!!

When we're going 4-13 the next 3 years you will pine for the Kirk era.

Former Dolphins LB Andrew Van Ginkel agreed to terms on a 2-year deal with the Vikings for $20 million, including $14 million guaranteed. The deal was confirmed by agents Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha.

Great signing.

I promise you I will never pine for Kirk Cousins.

I may pine for better QB play, but I don't want that guy back. Ever

from a logistical standpoint, he can't officially sign until Wednesday, so you are correct.

The two defensive guys we've "signed" are a nice move in the right direction to shoring up and closing some holes.

I hope they sign a couple more, like a CB or two

We are already improved from last year with the 2 FA signings. Darnold or Minshew. Somehow grab a DT and CB.

Per SkorNorth we have signed LB Blake Cashman. Spotrac projected 2 years $8 million. We signed him for 3 years 25 million. He was actually the 8th rated LB per PFF.

Incredible first 4 hrs Kwesi. It was needed. Defense needs a CB and DT. Draft focus can be on the offense.

. We just spent over 120 million in FA. Total rebuild? No cap space?

I wouldn’t mind giving Mac Jones a second shot here.

I would say Flores. You know he had his hands all over these decisions.

Kwesi has not enamored me in this first 2 years, but I must say, I think he's had a good 1st day.

Some very good players, still relatively young. I'll trust Flores knows what he's looking for.

Vikings likely setting up for a run in 2025/2026 in all reality. When more cap space will be available for a couple big time signings.

The reality is Wilkins was a pipe dream, as we don't quite have the cap space yet for that kind of signing.
Also too many holes, I like filling some spots with quality players.
We don't have a lot of draft picks this year, so FA was a must.

I would say the defense is instantly better than last year right now.

It's 100% now we're going QB. I don't think we have the firepower to move up, so it's gonna be JJ/Nix/Penix group.
May even be able to trade down a bit it they think one of these guys slides, and pick up a much needed extra pick.

Compensation update: The #Raiders are signing QB Gardner Minshew to a two-year, $25 million deal that includes $15M fully guaranteed, per sources.

No draft picks and no big time FAs? They have spent over 100 million and have plenty of picks.

More Packers moves: Free-agent safety Xavier McKinney is signing a four-year, $68 million deal - a $17M per year average - with the Green Bay Packers. Agent David Mulugheta confirmed the deal.

I wonder if they are quietly interested in Fields

They supposedly were very interested when he came out

Maybe waiting trying to get the compensation down?
A 3rd rounder next year?

Kirk era is over

Just like the Zim and Speliman era

It was time

He was fine, but like so many before, was unable to get us the championship

On to the next era

Here's hoping

I like the signings so far

But Kwesi has a ton to prove to me

YMMV

I just can't see how a KOC/Fields marriage would work.

We didn't re-structure anybody to be able to sign these guys, did we?
