It impresses me. The Bears dedicated half of their secondary to covering JJ all game. Why do think Addy, Hawk and the rest had so much room to work with? Why do you think the Vikings so easily converted on 3rd down all game. Look at the TD that was set up by a 35 yd pass interference. JJ catches that in stride for a TD if the dback doesn't have a fistful of his jersey.

Other star receivers get to shine. Without the same supporting cast.

KOC isn’t doing good enough getting Jefferson the ball and Sam isn’t good enough.

Yep. This is the most disheartened (or pissed off) 9-2 franchise in NFL history

People have every right to be in prove it mode with this team. I'm enjoying the wins but I already know it's probably a 1 and done season. No biggie. I didn't expect more than 7 wins. Anything from here on out is a bonus for me.

I looked at that and didn’t see a penalty.

Not much you can do but force the ball into double coverage..

I like the fact that SD was hitting other targets..

But he really needs to quit holding the ball so long, and he needs to spend more reps with his other receivers .. fn Nailor has terrible hands, he gets open, but I can’t blame Darno for not throwing dimes a stone hands mcbrickwall.

I didn't see a penalty. I saw penalties. Grabbed him 2 or 3 times.

There was one that was iffy. JJ did about a 15 yard square in and they called Johnson for PI.

JJ has a nice TD if Powell was a little subtle with the pick play.

"KOC isn’t doing good enough getting Jefferson the ball"
Jefferson has the most yards of any WR through first 5 years (or something along those lines).
2nd in yards this year.
Isn't that getting him the ball?

"Sam isn’t good enough"
Good but not good enough... I'd agree with that.

IDK. When I review it in my head it seems unimpressive. Save for Jefferson’s effort making tough grabs.

Sam has thrown more INT’s trying to force it into Jefferson’s hands than TD’s to him.

I think Jets and Addy should both be lighting it up.

"The Vikings finished wit a 300-yard passer, 100-yard rusher and two 100-yard receivers in a game for the first time since Week 12 of the 2000 season."

That is really surprising to me.

In addition... Jefferson wasn't one of those 100 yard wr... crazy stat?

I get it... to me, with the weapons this offense has... I think sub 300 yard passing game should be the exception.
But bears game was a step in the right direction.
If Addison/Hock continue to eat... maybe JJ opens up and we get the big 3 having games we expected.

Then again... maybe Darnold is maxed out.

Sam had a pretty good game but there were things that were head scratching.

1. When you 2.5-3 seconds back take off and use your legs. There were escape lanes all day
2. Stop forcing it to JJ. I get he's the best in the league but forcing it was just making bad decisions

If only Sam would go back to ignoring Addison and forcing the ball to JJ...

I also feared that Hock would come back this year like last. No preseason and he started out blah (last year). Too many drops. His play count has been lighter, which is expected, but when he's been targeted he's been awesome.

No we need a JJJA ratio.

100%
If he tweaked those 2 things you could see a drastic uptick in output.
May seem like nitpicking... but that type of offense would give you superbowl legit aspirations.
