Going into the trade deadline, it looks like Bader, Coulombe and Castro are still the best bets to be traded. Most analysts seem to think their departure is all but a done deal. They are all in free agents after the year and unlikely to be back. The problem is that the return for each isn't likely to be more than a couple of mid-level prospects.

From what I have read, the Twins are very open to moving Duran and Jax for the right deal. Falvey has set a high price of two top 100 caliber prospects for each one. If nobody is willing to meet that price, the Twins will be happy to keep them since they are top relievers and under team control for two more years after this one.

Chris Paddack and Christian Vazquez sit in the dubious category of... they are available, but who wants them.

Joe Ryan's name continues to be on the long shot list, because of the return he could bring. The price in any Ryan deal would be in the Duran/Jax plus more tier. One of those two top 100 prospects would have to actually be top 10 with additional prospects thrown in. I know parting with one or more of your brightest, shiniest coins at the deadline is a foreign concept in these parts. Other teams actually do it when they see an open window of contention.

Updates:

Zebby Matthews is back from his injury. He got roughed up a little in his first game back and then threw 6 shutout / 2 hit innings with 7 k and no bb against Washington. It was probably the best start of his short career.

Festa has now replaced Matthews on the IL with a strain and will likely be out a few weeks.

Ober has had two rehab starts at St. Paul. He has given up 1 run in 9 total innings. They say his fastball velo is up a little, but still not back to where it was.

And Cole Sands is in the rotation.

Camargo hasn't played since May after having TJ surgery. The Twins would likely call up Jhonny Pereda if they dumped Vazquez. Pereda is good defense, terrible hitter like Vazquez.

Lewis has improved a little at 3B as the season has progressed. Glove not great, but the arm makes up for it sometimes.

Hopefully the win last night doesn't give our FO hope. The market will never be hotter for Duran or Jax. Cleveland closer in gambling trouble and not many other top relievers up for sale.

Ohl is a command guy. His walk rate (3.6%) is less than half the major league average (about 8%). He made adjustments to his arm slot and change up grip that jumped his K rate from 21% to 30% this year. He will probably be used as the guy who comes in behind an opener and goes 3-4 innings.
