That’s likely only temporary. Since he went 5 innings they put him on the shelf to get a fresh arm in the bullpen…for the next shelling.

Ugh! Drubbed 9-0 by the White Flags. Couldn't manage a hit in 6 innings off of Martin Perez.

I still think this can be a pretty solid team. History says Correa, Buxton and Wallner will start hitting. Ober will shake off a horrible first start and the bullpen will bounce back. History also says there will be injuries and overmanaging and general frustration. The organization has better depth to deal with injuries and I doubt Paddack and SWR will finish the season in the rotation.

I think SWR, Zebby and Festa deserve starts over Paddock....it was the 7 million $$$ salary they couldn't trade so trying him as a starter for a month or two. Paddock will probably end up in the bullpen. There will be a couple more starters ready by midseason (Adams, Culpepper) and Bullpen (Prielipp)

They wanted Zebby and Festa to not come up for a month......cheap bastards.

I think if Lewis and Buck get hurt we will have Keaschall and Erod almost ready. Our weakness is the same as the beginning of last year 1B/DH and RH power outside of Lewis, Jeffers, Buck, and Correa.

CES and Rooker would look really good on this roster right now.

Yes history also says the end of season rotation will look nothing like it does now. The Twins have a chance just because the division seems weak this year. 85 wins might do it. 1987 all over again.
