So now we will get a healthy dose of Festa and Woods-Richardson for the foreseeable future. At least it will only be for a couple innings a game with Rocco pulls them prematurely and taxes his bullpen into oblivion.

I am wondering how long the leash is for these two until they start entertaining bringing up Morris or Raya.

Next up would be Andrew Morris. Marco Raya's era is over 10 with the Saints.

No, Terry was old play them a full year at each level type. A jump from A to the majors is unlikely to be successful. Put him at AA now and AAA in another month.

No, Terry was old play them a full year at each level type. A jump from A to the majors is unlikely to be successful. Put him at AA now and AAA in another month.

Twins getting shelled. Pitching is thin. A normal team would trade for a pitcher. But the Twins in the middle of trying to sell won’t do shit.

MNTwins were going to designate Jorge Alcala for assignment, so the Red Sox traded them 21-year-old minor leaguer Andy Lugo to basically jump the waiver wire line.

Lugo is pretty marginal prospect. Small, speedy utility player hitting .265/.327/.430 at High-A this season.

Safe to say the Twins lost the Presley trade in a route.

Alcala could never learn to locate. His pitches are either well out of the zone or right over the heart of the plate.

Buxton was a human highlight reel last night. Longest Target Field home run since 2019 and a phenomenal diving backhand catch plus more. Festa pitched 6 and the Twins won 6-2.

Bailey Ober got six kinds of dog maneur kicked out of him today. Four HR, 6BB and 7R in 4.2 innings. Something has to be wrong with him.

Royce Lewis was finally hitting, so it was inevitable that he would reinjure his hamstring. His departure in the 9th inning was a fitting end to another disaster of a game. This time Paddack got lit up like a Christmas tree (9 runs/12 hits in 4 innings). All these short starts are killing the bullpen. Ryan is going to have to pitch damn near a complete game today against a lineup that's very good at running up a pitch count.
