Get out your umbrellas, its time for the bad grades to rain down on us.

Draft grades suck but so does being left out in the cold by common sense.

Just once before I die, I would like to see this team go from point A to point B.

There always has a to be a cute little wrinkle that gets us started off the track.

Whoops, did I say two foot injuries?

March 9, 2026 (Combine Injury): Suffered a broken bone in his foot (4th metatarsal) at the NFL Scouting Combine, requiring surgery.

Late 2025/Early 2026: Suffered a foot fracture in September 2025 that limited him to just three games, which he attempted to play through to finish the season.

Pre-2025: Experienced lingering foot/ankle issues that required earlier, separate procedures.

I want results. Still a chance but why not trade down? Oh well just haven’t seen him play.

Weird that the haven’t drafted the trenches forever then they draft the trenches early forever and we get a guy with injury history.

Broken bone
Fracture
Injuries/issues that required SEPARATE procedures

That's at least FOUR injuries/problems by my math.

Super disappointed

Yeah I haven’t seen him play. Thought an edge for sure.

It's not the position that bothers me, it's the injury history.

Foot injuries with a big body worries me.

Ridiculous. The guy will probably play sparingly at best.

Nothing like swinging for the fences for a boom/bust at #18.

The Triangle of Ineptness. Thanks Wilfs.

Yes, he brought joy to fellow patients during his hospital stays.

Well, the big question was how Brz would approach the draft in this unusual situation. Take big swings or play it safe. The ‘safe’ pick was sitting right there for them. They went with option B. I’m not saying one way is better than the other. Just that it’s… Interesting.

So that brings up two questions.

First, anytime there is a perceived reach pic, the obvious hindsight is could they have traded down and got him anyway?

And of course there’s the injury question. The guy was projected to be an absolute stud before the injuries. But acquiring injury prone players and crossing their fingers just hasn’t worked out well for the Vikings.

FWIW, his highlights show he's playing DE in what is mostly 3-4 situations.

I could see him lining up anywhere. Which is good for the Flo defense. Maybe he was a guy Flo lobbied for. I just hope the doctors also had equal say.

Personally I hate taking a player on projection, and not actual production...

Obviously a swing for the fences, but Woods or McDonald have much higher floors and those floors aren't low...

Why wouldn't you take the eagles trade (with cowboys).

Pretty good chance Banks is still there at 23.

If someone nabs him... plenty of good fits left.

Outside of the 1st... I'd like the pick.

At 18... oh boy, hope he turns into a wrecking machine.

Looks like the letter came out yesterday.

Not like a surgeon ever went with an over the top prognosis about his own surgery... not to mention on a 335 lb human... based on a CAT scan.

What's next...

This week: Well, we are VERY confident with his prognosis.

August: Well, he missed some valuable camp time because we want to be VERY cautious with this type of injury. You know, he's a big guy and that's a lot of weight on a bone in the foot.

October: Well, he was in on a few plays this week as you saw, quite a breakthrough for a determined player, so he's tracking VERY well.

OK, enough crying for now.
