Benn is just a dirty player, who has made career out of getting away with it. Does anyone actually believe the stick across the back of Boldy's head in the first period was an accident.

Gusbus is not gonna be happy if this series ends with no icetime. I don't see Hynes changing his mind.

Gus should have played better down the stretch.

1 for 7 on Power Play.....uugh. 2 sides of this: 1) Cmon KK you don't always need Mats to score. 2) Maybe Mats will be back next game?

The Wild have outplayed the Timberwolves the last two games (compared the Wolves Game 2) and lost yet the Wolves won.

Benn and Myers need a beat down but do so w/o getting a penalty.

Exactly, Gus played himself out the playoffs and has nobody to blame but himself.

I'm truly shocked at how the refs are calling this series. That said, it's been penalties for both teams. That/That said, we are doomed with the way it is. We aren't good enough to overcome Dallas' PP with this many chances.

Not when our PK has our slowest guys out there so we can't even pressure them. Playing back in a tight box and hoping to block all their shots just doesn't work in today's NHL.
Look at how we are being pressured and have no time to set up on the PP. Have to have pressure on the puck at all times.

The only fire is when we take the bait and take a penalty. As long as we stay out of the box we can beat them. Our PP needs a serious remake on the fly because what we are doing now isn't working. In my opinion we need to be more aggressive on the PK or else they will continue to toy with us.....

Exactly my point when I said 'playing with fire'. If we keep putting them on the PP, we lose. If we can keep it 5-5, I like our chances.

Have to get KK unleashed with or w/o Zuccarello. We really miss Trenin and Zuccarello. Trenin’s importance really was evident the last three games.

Looks like we may get Zuc back. Fingers crossed. Would love to get Trenin too but I doubt it.

John Hynes said Zuccarello and Yakov Trenin, who was injured in Game 2 and also practiced Monday, are questionable and the team will see how they respond to practice.

Wild lead 2-1 3rd period on goals by Zuc and Boldy. Outshooting them 25-11. Hold on.

Fudge. Stars pull the goalie during a 4-4 . Wild can't take advantage and Stars get a goal with 3 minutes to go. 3-2 Wild. I think we need to get the EN or they're going to tie it up.

KK with the EN from Boldy. 1:44 to go. Should be able to hold on.

Wild win 4-2. Whooo Hooo. 3-2 lead. Can finish them off at home. If we finish them our reward is playing the Lanche. That is fudged up.

Both back and Zuccarello scores. Fine game. We clearly had the better team tonight. Boldy has emerged as a bonafide stud. Faber having himself a hell of a series.

The only downside is that Brodin left the game with the dreaded lower body injury.

My simple recap:

Team played awesome, they simply can't hang 5-5. PP is the only thing keeping them alive.

I won't comment on the penalties. It wasn't egregious either way. You can knit pick but it's....

The Boldy 'non-goal' is something I can't wrap my head around. He battled for a goal. That's now a problem as a PF?

We have 2 legit superstars carrying the load and they are Boldy and Faber. KK and Hughes are the "names" (and, I think, Hughes has played amazing) but the 2 "17 mil" guys are reversed.

Wally is the teams #1. It's going to be an interesting offseason with that. It's clear..

Looks like Jimmy took a shot on the ankle.....let's hope nothing is broken.
I missed the 1st period but the last 2 periods were some really good hockey. I thought it looked like both teams settled down on the cheap shit, accept for Benn who only has that left to his game these days. As I said after the first game, all those hits are looking to add up now and we look like the stronger team. I sure hope this holds up Thursday and we can end it at home. Go Wild!
