As a Dodgers fan I give them an 7-8 at best knowing full well their pitching arms could disintegrate like they usually do or this time they lose the WS by inches or milliseconds.

I read on ESPN the Twins are a projected bottom 5 team. So Matt, what "chances" are you referring to?

I give the Twins a 20% chance of winning the division.

Nope, Vegas is at about 11%.

What are the chances of our BP being top 5 and either Taj or Mick replacing Pablo? It would take those two things just to get back to .500.

In order to win the division you need 2024 Royce, Josh Bell to rake, Wallner to rake, and a stud SS to emerge by mid year (Culpepper) plus BP and Taj/Abel to emerge.

Luke Keaschall is still acclimating to the outfield.

Joe Ryan could possibly be starting pitcher in WBC championship game if USA gets that far.

WBC is actually pretty exciting to watch. Maybe it's getting a patriotic boost in America from the Olympics.

Yeah. They did. It was very exciting baseball. I wanted USA to win but you had to feel good for the Venezuelan team and their fans/country.

This was something for the whole country. They basically let all their people take work off to watch the game. This is basically their #1 sport. Maybe they have some soccer too but baseball rules.

If USA would have won, it would have been a big story. But, as soon as the college basketball tournament starts, it would have been on the back page.

This will be something Venezuelans will remember and talk about the rest of their lives.

Hendriks released

Great news! That means we have some good arms in the pen.

No, it means we have arms that are less bad than Hendricks.

You trust Topa and Sands? Low leverage guys last year.

Rogers has experience but diminished stuff. Going to be interesting.

I'll take the under 4.50 ERA and over 3 saves. Want to take those bets with me?
