The Packers had zero pro bowl selections, so perhaps they aren't considered a good team anymore. I think SF wins because they have a better run defense and a more elusive QB.

Are you still sure the Texans won't draft a QB with the 1st pick ?

I wish you were RIGHT, and the Texans were NOT taking a QB. Anything that gives the Vikes a better chance of getting a good one. You still might be right, maybe they'll go Clowney, or trade the pick.

O'Brien is a QB development guy, amongst other things. If they trade down, it wont be beyond #3.

They will probably still take a quarterback. Hopefully, they fall in love with a guy like Bortles.

IF the Texans like Bortles, maybe they would feel safe trading down to #8 to draft him ?

One home team winner, 3 more to go, but really hoping I'm wrong on the Packers.

The Texans aren't going to trade down from #1 to #8. We wont pay that price and its too far of a drop for them.

Any team that trades down in the 1st round wants to know that barring something crazy, they will still get their guy, unless its all about selling the pick for maximum value. They wont get max value from us and there is absolutely no guarantee that they will get their guy in the 1st round dropping 7 slots.

How bad was it? The Chiefs had a win expectancy above 90% for more than a third of the game. CC: @ESPNStatsInfo pic.twitter.com/a80bOYLIoF

That had nothing to do with it

The guy sucked and that is why they are going QB

Wow, I swore it took three years of sucking before deciding to move on from a sucky QB....

That has everything to do with it. New regime, new quarterback, period.

You of all people should know that.

0-8 and 54% completion percentage not being a viable starter is what it's about. New head coach just means it's 100% instead of 90%.

You were very definitive that they weren't drafting a QB. I believe you said it was "etched in stone".

There were no caveats, other than "catastrophic injury".

I was.. but I also didn't think they'd fire Kubiak. I thought with all the injuries they had, like the Falcons, they would just chalk this year up as a loss, reload and get ready for 2014.

I was waaay wrong on that.

So, etched in stone and ink it on your neck, may have been over the top?

In the NFL things are changing by the minute.

That's why I am very selective about using "absolutes".

I think I brought this up at the time.

BTW; Ponder absolutely sux.

That is not true

The reason they are looking at QB is because this guy isn't any good!

You weren't in error because of a regime change

You were in error because you thought this guy could play and he sucks.

Ian, you blew it on your evaluation of the QB - just admit it and move on.

We ALL make mistakes. I thought Clausen would be a good QB

Happens to all of us

But regime change had nothing to do with it.

in fact, if that guy could play there may not have been a regime change!
