Probably the most interesting story line would be Patriots vs Bucs. Not saying it will happen, but I could root for that since the Purple obviously won't be involved, AGAIN!

Patriots/Bucs might be interesting, but if the Bucs won, some might say Belichick didn't have it in his heart to beat Tom. But if NE won, Belichick would probably get all the credit for knowing Tom's tendencies, and maybe Arian's as well.

I would probably enjoy Arizona/Baltimore, or maybe Arizona/Cincy for what could be a pretty good SB shootout. Arizona/Buffalo might be fun as well.

Minnesota/Buffalo or Baltimore or Cincy might also be fun.

But only if the Vikings WON !!!

So we still just have 1vote for NE, and 1 near vote for Arizona. Any other picks for a SB winner ?

Pretty sure I never said the Cardinals were going to win the Super Bowl.

True Brad, you never committed to any team, you just said something about the Cards being the best team, and they're getting healthy. That is why I said near vote.

Who would you choose to win the SB ? We have 1 vote for NE, so far.

Lot of football left, and it's wide open. Of the teams in the hunt, I'd say Buffalo, New England, Arizona, Kansas City, LA Rams, Cowboys, Packers and Bucs all have a shot. Of those, I would consider Buffalo, Arizona, Kansas City and Green Bay as the favorites. I don't think the Rams have a QB to get them to the finish line and the Bucs and Cowboys don't play enough defense to win it all. Not sure Green Bay or Kansas City does either.

My odds-on favorites would be Arizona against Buffalo. Would make for a great game.

Arizona and Buffalo would be a great SB.

Some people are sleeping on NE, but not after they just went into Buffalo and won.

Matt Jones is probably going to get better with experience, and Belichick's defenses can shut teams down in the playoffs. We will see.

I am surprised nobody chimed in with KC or Indy for the AFC. I am having some doubts about NE now, but this is usually when Belichick gets his defenses coming together.

I am skeptical about NE, but I think GB is likely going take the NFC, and maybe with ease.

My NE pick looks suspect, surprised nobody had the guts to post here that they would pick KC or Buffalo to take the AFC. Still can, if you have the guts, lol.

I think GB is a solid pick, almost a lock to take the NFC.

My favorite right now in the AFC is Buffalo. Good on both sides of the ball. #1 in scoring offense in the AFC and #2 in scoring defense. Indy could be #2, but I don't see Carson Wentz making a run.

The NFC is wide open. Dallas making a case right now. Rams are also heating up at the right time.

KC or Buffalo in the AFC, gb or Tampa? in the NFC. But, I've been terrible at picking winners this season.

Any combination that excludes GB, Dallas, KC or Miami, patriots…

Preferred rams/ bills.

I think you're right Joe, I likely put too much weight on Belichick's motivation, and too much for a rookie QB.

It's likely the Chiefs or Bills in the AFC, GB in the NFC.

I would like to see Tampa win in GB, but they would have to play a better game than they played in the SB, and they won't be at home.

You may be right Brad, the Bills might even be the team to win it all, they seem a little like the TB last year, aggressive defense, offense coming together in December.

Odds are 9-1 for Bills winning the Super Bowl, seems tempting.

Packers 28 Vikings 24

Mannion gets hurt, Sloter looks impressive throwing for 2 TDs, but gets strip sacked late in the 4th quarter.

Cousins for Mayfield: Gain 17M in cap room and Mayfield is in last year of contract so that is not a problem.

We might have to throw in a mid round draft pick.

So let me see if I have this straight. You want to trade for a guy that actually has a worse passer rating in the final two minutes of halves than Kirk Cousins? Mayfield's passer rating in the final two minutes is 57.7. If that isn't the worst in the league, it's got to be damned close. Once he reaches 30 passes in a game, his completion percentage drops to 22.7%. Some guys could probably throw it opposite-handed and complete that many.

How about Cousins, Barr and Smith for Russell Wilson?

It isn't about getting Mayfield. It's about getting rid of Cousins' contract.

The QBOTF is in the draft.

Oh okay, I gotcha. But there has to be better options than Mayfield. Has to be. I'd throw a Brinks truck at Huntley before I'd get Mayfield. Davis Mills is a better option. He's got a 90.9 passer rating in the final two minutes, and he has nobody around him. Huntley is 102.5 in the final two minutes. I'd even go Tyrod Taylor over Mayfield. Colt McCoy, you name it.

IMO, Huntley and Mills wouldn't be available. I'm guessing Mayfield would be.

Maybe the Steelers have an interest in Cousins.

Cousins lit up Carolina. They need a QB.

Cousins doesn't strike me as a Steeler kind of guy.

No. He doesn't. Plus their OLine is as bad as ours.

I'm hoping Stefanski likes Cousins.
