I think the first trade the Vikings will make, will be trading Hunter.

I think they will get just a 2nd for him, and a swap of something like a 4th for a 3rd, and the Vikings get a conditional 2nd or 3rd rounder next year, if he makes the pro bowl for his new team.

I think you keep Hunter.

I think you send Cook to Miami. Hometown guy for them, position easily replaceable for us, Dolphins need weapons.

Aren't hometown guys in Miami about a dime a dozen? Not like a Thielen or a Fitzgerald for us.

Miami could us a good RB. Cook would qualify. and we can get by just fine with Mattison, Nwangwu, and a draft pick. Trading Cook would free up some cap space, Add draft picks, and takes a guy that can't play a full season off our roster.

I would be fine keeping or trading Cook.

I do have a 66.7% success rate of sending the home team of my one away game per year to the Super Bowl.

I already have my tickets for the Bills on Nov 13.

Living in Rochester NY during the 4 consecutive SB losses trained me to be a Vikings fan when we moved to MN in 1998 (yes, the crushing disappointment is probably my fault )

I figure the Bills - Vikings SB will come down to a FG to win, ball is sailing toward the goalpost ...

and the Rapture occurs before it makes/misses.

Well, at least I’ll get to see the result..

I’ll ask Satan, my future lord and future master, to send you a digital copy of the end of the game..

Do you understand that Cook compared to most RBs has been an Iron Man over the last several years?

True or not, that has next to nothing to do with TGS's point.

My point is that featured RBs seldom play a full season and Cook based on carries was one of the three most used RBs in the league. We got our mileage out of him.

Responding to a post I made 5 months ago.

OK.

And your response has nothing to do with my post at all.

I didn't say anything about Cook's durability...though it's hard to miss that he's never played more than 14 games in a season...

He also doesn't play nearly as well once dinged up. He may play 14 games, but if a handful of them come after an injury, his production tends to be greatly reduced.

He's an Italian Sports Car. If he's not in the shop, he needs to be perfectly tuned to perform.

14 games from a featured running back is good. It's a plus not a minus. When doing his pros and cons I put durability in the Pros column.

A good start for Pickett. The sooner he starts at QB for Pittsburgh, the better their chances to win the division.

Pickett to Pickens, a good combo. Pickett would not have been a bad pick for the Vikes, if they hadn't traded down. We'll see if the small hands matter, size does usually matter.

Another great outing for Pickett. He will be a starter soon, unless he's just another Sloter.

So, 11-6.

Anyone else think this many wins, fewer, or more ?

There it is. You having us getting swept by the Puke. I thought you would have the Puke at 15-0 or at worst 14-1 for the second meeting and benching their starters. Wouldn't that give us a chance to win round 2? I'm expecting more than 11 wins assuming good health for our prime time players.

Nice, more than 11 wins KG ! I think they'll win 12 if they beat the Pack in week 1.

A lot of things are in the Vikes favor for week 1. Some people are probably thinking, no Davante, Vikes should easily win this one. When a game looks like an easy pick, I tend to pick the other way.

I think the Vikings surprise wins will be at New Orleans (London), at Washington, beating Dallas, and sweeping both Chicago and Detroit.
