My hatred for the Puke, trumped my feelings that the Puke could knock of the 49ers.

IF the Vikings are Super Bowl worthy, they will need to beat the Giants, then SF, and then 2 other teams. A tough road, but you never know.

I am happy the Puke are done, I just don't think the Seahawks will beat the 49ers.

IF the Vikes beat the Giants, then they very likely go to SF.

While I don't like the Vikings chances at SF, the game will likely feel like the game at Buffalo going in. IF the Vikings can keep it close, maybe they find a way to pull out a win.

The bigO, it looked like the refs favored the Pack throughout the game, but seemed ok with the Lions pulling out the win.

I was surprised the refs missed the blow to the head on Swift (I think it was Wyatt), wondering if that will get a fine later in the week.

AFC - I over-rated Oakland, Pittsburgh and Indy, underrated SD and Jax. I had Jax winning 9 games, but didn't think they'd win their division.

NFC - I over-rated GB, Rams and Carolina, under-rated Giants and Vikings a little bit.

Still could have my original pick of Buffalo over SF in the Super Bowl, but I think it could end up going a lot of different ways. Should be interesting.

Pretty harsh grader. I can be hard on myself, and I give myself a B- so far.

I had most of the teams where they belonged, was just off on their records. I like that I had Miami making the playoffs, Jax doing well (I wonder how many people would have picked them to win their division, that was a surprise to me), Denver not making the playoffs, Philly winning their division, TB winning their division.

It all looks so easy afterwards, but not so much before the season begins

I give myself a B-, which could drop down to an F in the playoffs, but could be an A if I were to get both SB participants right.

I did a predictions thing like this before the '98, and out of 30 participants, nobody had both participants that season (a few had Denver, nobody had Atlanta, many had Minnesota, the Vikings were very close that year, 1 FG away).

Had others participated before the season, I would have lowered or raised my grade accordingly. I wish others had participated, and would have been happy for them if they had done better than I did.

But I do understand, something like this can take a little time.

I think the Vikings will have a chance to win the game at the end of the 4th quarter, but Joseph will miss a 45 yarder.

The Giants will win the toss in OT, and get a FG. Dalvin Cook will break a 45 yard TD run for the win.

Vikings 27 Giants 24 OT

I think either Cook or Barkley will be in beast mode in this game, getting 212 yards. I just can't figure out which one it will be.

I am leaning towards it being Barkley, and Cook has about 15 carries for 15 yards in regulation, and then Cook breaks off the 45 yarder for the win in OT.

I almost dare say Marty crafted that out purposely tricky as bait.

Absolutely. Especially once he thought he saw a gotcha that was it.

Close to the same prediction I had when the schedule was released and it was obvious we were going all in this season.

From running it back and easy schedule (I predicted 12 wins), we win a playoff game and then get thumped.

Hope I'm right about part one and wrong on part two.

4 of 6 last week, wrong about Minnesota and TB. N

Going with KC, Philly, Cincy, SF

If either game is close with 4 minutes to play today, then I think the dogs will win.

4-4 this week, 4-6 last week, so 8 out of 10 for the playoffs.

80% is double my usual 40%, so regression to the mean means I likely get both games wrong next week.

Then again, I had both Championship teams wrong last season, hoping to get ONE of them right this year. Will post my picks later in the week.

I am predicting Dalvin Cook will be traded to Buffalo, and it's also possible Theilen goes there as well, but I am guessing Theilen will restructure and stay with the Vikings.
