Status: offline 		I will go out on a limb and say the Vikes record their first blow out win of the season, by 17+ points or so.

Fitzpatrick has had success lately and Steve Johnson has proven to be a solid player and perhpaps the fantasy football pickup of the season. But their defense is mediocre at best and I see our DLine playing they did vs Arizona and getting to Fitz. The Vikes have always been a much better home team and I can't see a 2-9 Bills team having any kind of chance tbh.

If I had to pick a score something like 34-13 sounds right.

THe Packers could get to 11 wins but 10 may be more likely

Of course the Bears could also fall to 10 or 11 wins also.

Status: offline 		I was waiting for Vikes blowout all season. Thought we would blowout the Cards and that should have happened, as well as the Lions back in week 3.

As for this week, it's tough to say. The Giants have both a good OLine and Dline, while the Vikes Lines have underacheived. The Oline has looked better in run blocking while the DLine seems to be rejuvenated. How healthy are Smith and Nicks? If they're still hobbled we should be able to shut down their passing game. Our run D isn't the same this season but they're still near dominant in the dome.

I expect a hard fought game 23-20 to either team, perhaps in OT. 1 or 2 plays will be the difference. Perhaps a Harvin return, Eli or Favre sack fumble, a ridiculous play by Rice or AD or perhaps a Reynaud muff?

Status: offline 		27 The Giants were embarrassed last year in Minneapolis. That won't happen this time. The Vikings looked good against Buffalo, but this is a step up in competition. No matter if it's Brett Favre or Tarvaris Jackson, the quarterback will face a tough pass rush. I look for the Giants, who are getting healthier, to make amends for that disaster last season.

Status: offline 		As strong as I pushed for Frazier getting his chance to HC, it does NOT mean I automatically want him as HC for next year. I AM impressed with him so far, and his handling of players.

The next thing I want to see is some good game planning that attacks opponents' weaknesses on defense. I want to see the Vikings' offense productive by design, along with some great plays by players. I want to see an early lead against a quality opponent, and there are 3 of them coming up.

IF the defense continues to play well, Pagac should ALSO be a consideration for the Vikings' HC next year.

I think the Giants win in a close one:

Status: offline 		I think the Packers are going to shock the world, but it'll probably not happen without a little 'sway' (letting the Packer DBs get away with PI and holding, and letting the Pack OL get away with some good holds, and maybe letting a few others thing slide while calling it tight on NE).

It'll be interesting if Frazier can get the Vikings to bounce back and perform well after a bad loss.

Hoping a star is born, and predicting a Vikings win, Harvin and Webb being the difference:

Status: offline 		I think I went overboard on the score. I think Flynn can be decent, and the Packers will need the WRs to get YAC. I was counting a defensive TD, maybe 2, or a return for the Pack.

I was thinking the Pats were due for a game where they gave up a few points. I probably should have said 31-24, Pack.

Status: offline 		First evidence of a 'sway', a holding penalty on NE (one that was hard to see).

'Sways' are usually done with holding penalties on an OL, along with allowing the same defense to commit holds and PI in the 2ndary. On the other side of the ball, you can expect to see anything ticky tacky WILL be called on the other teams' 2ndary.

I also suspect that they use whatever little edge they can to help out the team getting the 'sway'. For instance, IF they thought NEs' defense was getting too good of jump on the ball, they'll call offsides even if a Packer clearly moves. Any turnover that is close, is likely to go in favor of the 'sway' benefactor. A close call will probably operate the same way, with the hope that it isn't challenged, or doesn't get overturned. You can also use quick whistles or slow ones, depending on whether you're likely to get desired outcome.

Status: offline 		Anything close goes to the benefactor of the 'sway': exhibit 2 - Driving picking up the PI call in the endzone, it could just as well have been offensive PI.

The team I suspected might benefit from a 'sway', is now out to a good lead, so the refs might not have to get too involved. NE is going to have to put up a better fight if we are to see more evidence of a 'sway'.

Status: offline 		It might have been just an attempted 'sway' that failed as Flynn came up short too many times. At least the Packers covered the spread, if that is what the officials' desired, it would have been a SUCCESSFUL 'sway'.

There were many missed opportunities that were blown near the end, or the Packers may have won this game. They really botched the last drive, even after given a key penalty on 3rd down to keep the drive going. Not having a play ready, looked similar to the Vikings having too many guys on the field at crunchtime in the NFC Championship.

Status: offline 		There were NO calls of holding on the GB OL, and NO calls of holding or PI on their 2ndary. THAT is all that may have been needed to bring about the likelihood of a high scoring game, where GB has a good chance to win, and covers the spread.

That is WITHOUT mentioning the 4 things I evidenced for a 'sway'.

I cannot tell you IF a 'sway' is going to happen, but I can tell you the likely result IF the officials might be messing with it. Having said that, I think the Vikings could end up being the BENEFACTOR of a 'sway' tonight, as I suspect there is more money on the Bears.
