Marty, methinks you're too into "sway".

I think you're RIGHT DJ, but there IS a chance the Packer/Patriot game was a 'sway' for point spread, maybe for the Packers to WIN.

Having said that, I think they only 'sway' about one game a week, and if that was the one, then they are unlikely to mess with the Viking/Bear game. I would LOVE for Joe Webb to come out and have a great game, but I think there will be good with the bad, and the Bears will WIN.

I'm amending my prediction to the Bears winning it. I think Webb will make some GREAT plays, but throw a few bad INTs, and NOT come through at crunchtime. I think there's a decent chance that Ramsey ends up playing.

Bears 27
Vikes 17

27-13 Bears. At least one of their TD's will be a defensive return for a score. Probably a special teams score, as well. This call is in keeping with our 1st 50 years karma, which I'm hoping will somehow pivot on tonights events. Hoping I'm wrong on this score and on this outcome.

Bears 16-3.  And they are playing to a largely empty TCF stadium for most of the 4th quarter.

Having to watch Brett play more sounds painful.

I was really looking forward to watching Webb play, even if I thought he would probably do poorly.

That's probably right. Really curious to see the Falcons/Saints game. Too bad the Saints lost or it could've been for the division perhaps.

The Falcons are sound all around team but can they play from behind? They've only been behind in 3 games this season vs 49ers where they were very fortunate to win on a Roddy White fumble recovery of Clements. As well as the Eagles game when Kolb shredded them. The most recent Bucs game where they scored a KO return right after the Bucs took a 10 point lead and that KO return wasn't your average KO return, Weems came to a full stop and found a way to get to the EZ.

We shall see.

There is no way I see Vick losing that game in ATL

It will be like Favre's game against Green Bay in 2009

In the AFC, I can easily see San Diego beating New England and anyone else. I know the other AFC teams are praying SD doesn't make it in.

The Saints looked like they had regained their swagger but it was premature. Their running game doesn't seem nearly as good as last year but I haven't chevcked the stats

That has caused Brees to throw a lot more picks

The Chargers finally got the defense they've been looking ever since Merriman went off the juice. Their early season gaffes have really put them in a hole. Reminds of the Pats the year they had Cassel, they lost some games early and in the end they couldn't catch a division rival who had a cake schedule. I hope they can get in, #2 ranked offense and #2 defense and they're 2nd in point differential. Not to mention their passing game has been decimated all season long. Gates was on pace for 1,500+yds and close to 20 TDs had he been healthy, would have been by far the greatest season ever for a TE.

I think the Eagles will take down the Falcons, but the Bears may take down the Eagles or perhaps the Giants. The eagles crushed the falcons with Kolb and wasn't even as close as the score indicated Akers missed 3 chip shots in that game.

The Saints look like the Saints of midseason on last season. They're not forcing as many TOs and are making a habit of letting teams back in the game. Not sure if its Payton's playcalling or the running game, probably both.

Lions 27 Vikes 20

Lions will have a 27-3 lead at one point. Webb will close it to 20-27, then Lions will shut the door.

I was right on with the 7 point loss, but both teams scored one less TD than I thought they would. The defenses played well.

Just so you're right on your last pick.  Altho the Pats are my second least favorite team in the playoffs.

Could definitely see the Ravens.

At the beginning of the year my pick was Ravens vs. Falcons.

Hate to break it to you guys, but the Ravens are going to get schooled this weekend by Kansas City

KCs speed is going to show up that aging defense.
