We look like a group of fantastic athletes that were recruited and are being taught to play BB.

Love this thought
spot-on imo

Glad I saw the hi-point of the season, winning vs Michigan State.

Underwhelming effort 2 games in a row, when they could have made a statement.

Not great in the 1/2 court, will also be a problem, won't get as many opps to run.

Zactly
Easy to see, imo.
Stagnant offense? We won't beat anyone.

Yeap, not trying to validate my previous post but:

1. Slow down BB game - we are horrible

2. Run and gun "athlete game" we are damn near unstoppable.

And to make it worse, they seem to turn it over more in the half court set.

Tubby has to get these guys to play better in the half court. It's necessary in this conference, and no wonder they can't properly
close out a half. No excuse for how they ended the first half last night. They were even worse @IU.

Williams can't turn invisible for an entire half of basketball.

Trey Burke is better and faster than I though he was, and I thought he was pretty damn good and fast.

Sorry the Gophs didn't give you a better game for the $ you spent.

It was a good time, and I really didn't expect it to be a W. Loudest game at the Barn I have ever been to. I'd do it again.

I'm surprised at loudest. As bad as they played at times, it seemed awfully quiet for stretches.

First five minutes, incredibly loud. Some spurts in the second half too.

I can't find the college basketball thread. Not sure if we even have one. If we do, it's hidden behind some secret MN passage way.
Anyway, what a great day of basketball. Florida is getting really nasty, and I think their back court is overrated. Patric Young is a young monster. I like Phil Pressey, but not as much as ESPN does.
Don't tell me he's the best PG in the country, during his worst performance ever. How underrated is Billy Donovan?

OSU/MSU another example of how tough this conference is. I love Aaron Craft's defense, but he's lacking a very important part of the game.......a shot.

Boeheim beats Pitino again. Pitino whines about officiating and throws a player under the bus. I'm so surprised. I love that Louisville back court, but distant second to Burke/Hardaway.

If Butler isn't at least your second favorite team, you're not paying attention.

Does that make sense? The college basketball thread is hidden beneath the Twolves thread?

I finished off hoops day watching the end of Iowa/Wisconsin.

B10 is unpredictable.

Not too many easy wins in conference.

If the Gophers can pull off the upset at Wisconsin, we could put together a nice stretch of W's.

With Wis losing their second in a row last night, they'll really be tough to beat in their house this weekend so tonight is important to get a win

Pathetic play. The unforced turnovers this team makes are outrageous.

Half court D is nearly as bad as the set offense. It's almost like they never saw a zone before.

IF those losses were this alleged wake up call, they went back to sleep.

Horrid guard play. Terrible decisions.

Same old ****

See that 1-3-1,no outside threat, don't know how to pass the ball.

The rushed / forced shots during the long NW run, worse than what I see in 5th/6th grade basketball.

This is no longer a top 25 team. 4 straight L's coming up after Wisconsin.

Wheels are coming off.
