The Big Ten is crazy this year.

Jealous of Izzo teams. Most of the teams he coaches, get better as the year goes along.

Wonder what that's like? Tubby teams rarely do this.

Gophs drop out of top 25.

So when they lose, it's not an upset any longer.

#20 Badgers come in to kick them Thursday.

I expect the Gophers to win that game. People are way too down on this talented team.

Down 10 late in the first half. Not surprised. 14 points in 17 1/2 minutes.

I'm glad that there will be a Wild game on Thursday night so there will be something else to watch.

Badgers haven't exactly looked like world beaters themselves this season, but yes, I'm sure they'll beat us because that's just how things always go.

I've been watching the Wild, but saw the scores at a couple of points. I'm SO, SO glad to have been wrong about the outcome.

Simply couldn't keep watching ....
Sat at the bar and tried to watch the first half ... we were very fortunate to hit double-digits.
People love this style of Big ten play .... I loathe it.
Seemed to be a much better second half, and its a nice win to get.
Wiscys third straight OT game.
Sounds like there was a Rodney Williams sighting in the second also.
We're not great with him, but we're unwatchable when he's not.

How many times have you seen a pretty game from anybody (win or lose) against Wisconsin? They are a scourge on this earth. The key is the W.

Kudos to you for keeping the faith.

Still plenty of work to do. Andre Hollins has to lead this team; no one else will.

I don't get why locals are SO down on this team. They're in a bad stretch, but the national people (who certainly do not have a Minnesota bias) aren't anywhere near as down. Ken Pomeroy has them as the 13th team in the nation. CBS and ESPN have them as a 4th or 5th seed in the NCAA tournament at this point. There is still enough time to play themselves out of the tournament, but to simply count on that sounds depressing as hell.

Days like today are a good example...

Here is my plea to Norwood Teague:

Before all of the BIG 3 in state recruits wipe their asses with Tubby's scholarship offer you need to do the following on the first day it allowed by the NCAA.
8:00 AM - fire Tubby
8:01 AM - call Shaka Smart and offer him whatever it takes to get him up here.

None of Jones, Vaughn and Travis are coming here to play for Tubby. When this comes to pass it will be the latest and biggest in a never ending string of embarrassments for this program.

It appears that once they start to struggle, they get frustrated and then all help breaks loose.

They have no clue as to how to attack a zone. A shitty team that can play half-assed decent zone defense can just flat out embarrass this team.

The sad thing is that they are quoted as saying they were prepared for a zone
