So down by 3, Morris hit a 3 pointer with 2 seconds left and was fouled for a chance at a 4-point play and the win?!? That would have been epic.

Was heck of a play Matt and as much as I wanted him to make the FT, I'm just glad he got the 3 to take them to OT for a chance.

Huge win.
I had so many damn sports on at my local watering hole ... my head was spinning.
And we freaking won them all.

I was afraid to go to bed.
Thought for sure I'd end up DEAD.

Many of these teams need to streak to make the playoffs (and most are)

According to Gametracker we had a chance to win it at the FT line with 2 seconds left and choked.

Great win, and yet they tried over and over to give it away by MISSING FREE THROWS
Just cant get over giving a guard a scholarship, when he can't hit a free throw.
MOST of your games will come down to that.
Its suicide to recruit kids who can't accomplish it.

Pitino calls freshman forward Gaston Diedhiou "Gas" - which is better than "Gassy" or "Judy" or whatever Ron Gardenhire would have called him if he'd played for the Twins. But after watching Diedhiou try to handle passes this year, perhaps Pitino picked the wrong syllable to emphasize.

3 - "Stone" has a nice ring to it.

Always a slight difference between 10-8 & 6-12....basically their 3-point % allowed and missed free throws........saw enough improvement from Konate and Mason to know that C and PG should be fine next year........2-4 need work.

One note probably makes some sense,

McNeil was supposed to work the 2-3 spot, bigger kid that could play good d.

His personal problems left a chasm.

Morris doesn't know defense, and the other 3 are not made to handle studs. And the proof is in the pudding.

Lack of perimeter defense abysmal, especially in college bb. high-school-ish.

Decent second half. That's about all I got on that one tonight. It was Rutgers.
Some of the bigger names did nothing.
Should mean they'll produce more vs the Buckeyes?

They better, or it's gonna be a long night. They also better do a better job of rebounding; wow, do they do a horrible job of boxing out.

I've been so disappointed in this team that I haven't watched many of their games recently. I do like Mason, he has an edge to him that I like.

No floor leader, nobody to control the tempo of each game.
Cannot shoot free throws....
We need another couple of big men to man the post;
and a guard or two who can run the show, and shoot free throws!

yeah. Other than that, they're loaded

Mason should be the floor leader.

Morris the gunner needs to learn to play D, or should leave.

The bigger guys, Buggs, Diedhou(sp) and Khonatay(also sp) need a ton of work.

Ho...hum
We are very familiar with this pattern of lost seasons!!
It is all about recruiting, and I don't think Pitino will be
able to recruit them.
Tyus would have looked good at point guard!

Buggs was, by far, the biggest disappointment for me last night. Well, the young guys that is. Walker was bleh too but he's leaving so.....
