ORIGINAL: David Levine quote:
ORIGINAL: Pete M. I blame Westbrook and the senior "leadership." His absurd temper tantrum after being taken out of the game was the last straw for me. He's done for me as a Gophers player, and it's too bad I'll remember him for his ball-hogging, arrogance, and bad attitude more than for his big shots against Penn State and Wisconsin. I don't think we can completely judge how big of an effect the lack of chemistry has on this team. It doesn't really look like they're having fun or playing with any fire. I'm willing to give Tubby more or less of a pass for this season, and I'll be looking forward to what happens next year. I just hope that enough guys don't transfer at the end of this year to set us back to the Monson era talent-wise. Agree on Westbrook. He's not nearly as good as he thinks he is and I've been looking forward to the end of his "era" for some time. Wonder how much of that is due to his uncle being the Eagles' RB. Inflated self-worth. And the guy is probably too honest to be going onto KFAN and gabbing about butting heads. I'd bet the coaches are looking forward to the end of that era, too.
