Students hitting the field

Cops will be busy tonight

Let the students have fun. They should block off all the streets around Dinky-town. Let the students party. No minors issued to anyone as long as they stay in the party area. The University should pay for bus rides for the students who live too far to walk home.

Biggest Gopher football win of my lifetime!

You could have been born before WW II and that would still be the case.

You do realize they won a national championship in 1963.

I was too young to remember. You realize that was almost 57 years ago. That is Vikings futility.

Stayed up all night/morning (4:30 am Sunday here) and absolutely enjoyed! It's going to be a long day... and I will sleep well tonight, but it was damn well worth it!

It was nice that when it was time for a team to stand up, make a statement and then make the big play... the gophers were that team today. There was no last second heartbreaking loss... No close loss, no "we fought hard and stayed with them... NO moral victory today. The D did bend, but they made plays when they needed to.

The team played well and they earned this win!

Recalling the years of listening to the gophs on the radio I can only imagine the smile that Ray Christensen would have now.

Enjoy then get focused on Iowa... No let down!

No matter how long it’s been .... got chills watching pregame when they showed just how powerful our FB team used to be.
Tide-like. For a long time.
Means nothing now. But it was damn cool to see

Loved the shot of Bobby Bell on the sidelines. Pretty cool that he endowed a scholarship. Bell has stayed a huge Gopher booster through it all.

I haven't read comments yet but I see there is a lot of them. I had to watch on tape because I was busy skinning a deer I shot this morning.

What a win. Amazing passing game today. Run was nullified a bit, but Morgan made them pay. Receivers played awesome. Winfield was awesome. D did just enough. Pass rush needs to improve.

Row the Boat, SKI-U-MAH! We may have gotten a heck of a deal on the extension, pre-win vs post-win.

This team is going to a heck of a bowl game no matter what. 9-0, can't believe it.

A win like that has to be great for recruiting. It was nationally televised on ESPN. At the very least Minnesota kids should want to play at the U.

They noted in the pre-game PSU hasn't faced this type of duo so far this year.

YUP

Will Autman-Bell be even better?

I meant Bateman.

Listened to the post-game

Fleck talked about raising expectations. Getting past the "oh no here we go again" and creating a difference culture.

One of the defensive players was asked about the "oh no" mentality.

Said they don't listen to that, and "people who say that don't know what they're talking about", referencing not seeing what the team is all about and how they go about their business.

The Maryland Terrapins were utterly destroyed by Ohio State in the first half Saturday, and in the middle of it all a three-star recruit, Jordan White, decommitted from the program.
White took to Twitter as Maryland was down 42-0 at the half, sharing that he was opening up his recruitment again “to make sure that I am making the best decision for myself and my future.”

Saw the Hockey team on the road watching the INT that sealed the win. Good stuff.

I didn’t even realize just how good Morgan was.

18/20, 339 yards, 3 TDs. And he really should’ve had a 19th completition and 4th TD.

Big time QB!

No

Especially if they comeback to win this...now only a TD behind.

Wow, what a win! Fun to watch.

I haven't seen a college game in awhile, but this was better than the NFL where there is a flag or replay review on EVERY FREAKING PLAY! Great job, Gophers!

Gophers will be ranked around #9 or #10 on Monday.

He's a sophomore. Not sure if he's draftable NFL talent yet. A little undersized, some lack of mobility, and maybe not NFL arm strength, but he is a winner. When he comes out, I'd at least take him as a UFA, but might be worth a draft pick after 2 more years of being ELITE.

Wasn't it awesome, still feeling it! Should be in the Big 10 title game! Looking for a Rose Bowl! Yep, I said it again.

And that’s his second game of the year where he was above 90%. He’s one of the top QB passing rankings in the nation.

He doesn’t have a rocket arm or physical skills that will blow you away, but he is accurate, unflappable and very smart, makes all the right reads and throws.

Quote from a Penn St player:

quote:

''He was reading us very well. He kind of knew what we were in and what they could to do expose us there,'' linebacker Jan Johnson said. ''They hit their plays. He made their throws.''

He’s a Mini-Me of Fleck. Totally bought into the program, the culture... even looks like Fleck.

Keep in mind, he did it against one of the best defenses in college football. I think the 24 points at halftime was already the most points Penn State had given up all season.
